Valentine's Day is tomorrow and I still have to get something for my boyfriend, Io. I need to find something fast! I decided to go to the candy shop and see what I could get.
I got to the candy shop about 10 minutes later. I walked in to see rows and rows full of candy! My sweet tooth started to show a bit, but I knew that I had to focus. I wanted our first Valentine's Day as a couple to be extra special! I'm sure Io already went all out and got me some real expensive fancy candy, but even so, I don't feel that pressured to get something like that.
As I was walking around, I spotted to perfect combo pact. It had this huge, heart shaped box of chocolate, a teddy bear holding a heart, and 5 boxes of sweethearts. I had to get it for him!
---The next day---
Io and I agreed to meet at the park at noon. I got there about 10 minutes earlier, and to my surprise, Io was already there waiting for me!
"Ryuu! Happy Valentine's Day!"
"Hey Io, happy Valentine's Day. This is for you." I handed him a basket with everything I got him wrapped up in it.
Io put the gift down on the bench, "Here, this is for you, hope you like it!" Io grabbed his own basket that was addressed to me.
"Let's open them at the same time! Ready? 3,2,1!" We both opened our gifts. Io got me a box of chocolates and this huge thing filled with chocolate dipped cherries, my favorite!
"I love it!" We both said at the same time. We slowly leaned over for a kiss. This was the best Valentine's Day ever!
