“Evan!” Jared cries out, startling Evan who kept himself small.
“Evan..?” Jared asks the void, only the tiny white dots in the distance reply in shimmers and shines.
Evan feels bad, immediately morphing back to his more standard size, attempting to smile at Jared and to ignore the way the stars on his face multiply at the sight of Jared
“Evan!” Jared says with glee, eyes so bright Evan can't look at them directly. He opts to admiring the sunset around Jared's waist, stretching into fabric, a beautiful skirt covered in light, the bottom is filled with stars, borrowed from Evan, of course.
The colors of the sky, wrapped around Jared. God.. He really is beautiful.
His cloak is pretty keen on showing it with its blue glow illuminating everything around them that's not already covered by Jared's aura.
The sun grins, a big grin that warms up everything, Evan's not surprised,
his own cheeks dusted with blue and stars that continue to come,
he feels himself smile, too.
He's not sure whether his eyes got accustomed to the darkness or if Jared's smile is really that bright,
his cloak glowing along with Jared's eyes, beautiful stars dotting the surface and shining, responding to Jared's smile as well. They glow and glow until Evan's blinded by the light,
face, for once, growing warmer. Ah...That must mean something. Something Evan is scared to admit.
He can almost hear the stars squeal for Jared, begging for attention. Evan takes it off, Jared can't see too much of these stars, they're quite revealing about his feelings.
“Oh, but it's so pretty!” Jared pouts. Snatching the cloak and giggling as the stars yell in excitement, trying to glow the brightest to win Jared's attention.
“Didn't know you were such a fan, Ev,” Jared says, smug as ever while he's carefully caressing the soft item, paying attention to each star, awfully adoring despite his humorous tone.
“They have a mind of their own, I swear.” Evan sighs, scolding them. “I think they just love the light.”
He takes off the orange jacket, Evan tries not to stare at his arms and- fails, miserably. This is weird since the sleeves are short- the newly revealed skin he sees is Jared's shoulder! Oh god. The moon is why dress codes are so harsh on girls. How stupid...Evan singlehandedly ruined girls' life and oh- he's taking the jacket off right-
...The tan is making Evan dizzy, He's..Just so pretty.

Why is he-
“Jared-? What are you doing-!” Evan asks, demands? Panics. Panics as Jared wraps himself with Evan's stars.
“Giving them love, why?” and after Evan's blush darkens-
“Jesus fuck, this is really fucking warm.” Jared chuckles awkwardly, face already getting red from the heat.
Oh, poor Jared- He's the sun! He's hot all the time he should take it off before he overheats and-
...
Different thoughts occupy Evan's head as he thinks about..hot Jared...taking something off...
Gah!
“Here,” Jared tosses the short-sleeved jacket to Evan, who catches it immediately, not wanting it to be lost. “We'll do a little switch-a-roo.”
Evan looks at the soft, fluffy collar. A lapel, that's what they call it? They're beautiful clouds, resting atop the sunrise. The orange clashes against Evan's purple and white shirt. Should he wear it? Jared's soft yellow clashes against the light purple, too. But he's still breathtakingly gorgeous.
“I'm-, I'm not sure, Jared.”
“Why not? It'll look cute on ya.” Jared says, eyes still glimmering.
“Because-!” He stutters, face all a soft blue, covered in stars to hide the shame and fluster Evan's going through. “Gahh-” He tries. “Why do you want me to wear it so badly?”
“Evan, All I wanna do is see you smile.” He replies, honest and true and filled with unimaginable softness for Evan that makes Evan shrink a little, now matching heights as his heartbeats grow louder, he's sure Jared can hear it as well.
Evan hesitantly puts the jacket on, watching Jared's eyes glow even brighter, Making Evan's gentle aura light up just a little bit more, feeling Jared's light spread around him, Evan now emitting the light as the rest of Jared..dulls down, aura not as fiery and bright.
Except for his eyes, of course.
“Oh-
It's night already?”
“Guess so,” Jared replies. “You always glow so beautifully at night..”
“I-..Look the same?”
“Yeah, I know.”
Is Evan's skin color even visible under the heavy blush and stars covering his face? Jesus...
“I love the night.” Jared says, scooting closer to Evan as their colors and auras slightly combine, the hint of dark purple as the promise of their touching. The eclipse only the two can see.
Evan doesn't know why, but they both leaned in, Jared already closing his eyes as Evan can just watch the stars illuminating Jared's face, surrounding him with even more light that blinds anyone who dares to watch the sweet kiss they share.
Jared pulls away too early for Evan's liking, smiling softly at him. Evan couldn't help but mirror him, echoing the sun's beauty, like he always does.
“You knew, for how long did you know?”
“Since your first glow.”
