Summary:

Katsuki Bakugou is a normal Omega. Living in his apartment just outside of the city. The blonde has a harsh nature., but for good reason. The only thing that's not so normal about him, is that he has three children. Two little boys, and a girl. The three are from his previous relationship. While he doesn't like to talk about it much. He often is explaining it to the three. Telling them why they need to go to their Papa's house every often.

For the four year olds, it's hard to understand, but, from what they can tell. Their Momma and Papa are no longer in love. That's reinforced into their heads by the fact that their Papa has a new mate. The past between the triplets' parents is rough and rocky. They were childhood bestfriends turned lovers. Unfortunately, once Bakugou announced his pregnancy, the love between them went sour.

Izuku was not ready for parenthood and found himself another mate. They both decided it was better to separate and raise the pups in a joint custody situation. While there was no actual legal action between them, they respected the given rule that they'd take turns with having the children. This was going well. So what happens when Katsuki's finds a way to get back into the dating world?

Chapter Text

The scratching of a pen against paper isn't an uncommon sound in the Bakugou household. Bills were always needing to be taken care of. There were stacks of other miscellaneous papers laying around the desk as well. Katsuki gave a small exhale and laid his head down in his hand. The day he had at work was exhausting. And coming home to have to sit at yet another desk and write up some papers wasn't helping.

The blonde decided to take a break and got up from his seat. Walking over to the living room and sitting down on the couch. He closed his eyes and tilted his head back. Granted being an Omega has its perks... He sometimes wished he wasn't one. Not to say he hated having his pups. He absolutely loved them to death and would give the world for them! But he just wished... he would've been smarter about who their father was. He should've known the other was too good to be true when he got together with him.

The Alpha of his children was Izuku Midoriya, his childhood best friend. And he thought he could trust him. They had grown up together, gone to school together, and became high school sweethearts. After they were dating for a little, they started to go through cycles with one another. After they were fairly comfortable with one another, they decided to maybe try going off the pill. Katsuki was against the idea. Knowing they weren't financially set, but Izuku had insisted.

The moment Katsuki had announced his pregnancy to the Greenette, he had fled. For what reason the answer was unclear. And now, here they were. Almost three and a half years later. A chime from Katsuki's pocket pulled him from his day dreaming. He shifted and pulled his phone out. Reading the text.

'We're coming up the stairs now, open the door plz!'

Came a message from his closest friend, Kaminari Denki, a fellow Omega. He and his mate had taken the kids for the day while he was at work. He smiled and got up. Going over to his front door and undoing the sliding lock at the top. Staying nearby the door until he heard the knock. Smiling and opening it. His legs were immediately attacked by his two sons, Ichiro and Kaichi. His little girl, Yuki, didn't stray too far behind. He chuckled softly and kneeled down to hug them tightly.

"Hey babies..." he said before brushing back Kaichi's blonde, and Ichiro and Yuki's soft green bangs to kiss their foreheads. He smiled softly and looked at his friend that had taken them for the day.

"Thank you for taking them today, Sero. I owe you one." Katsuki said softly.

"Don't worry about it, Kat. I didn't mind one bit. Besides, it'll help me get ready. Kaminari's ready to pop any day." The ravenette said.

The shorter, yellow haired Omega could be heard clearing his throat behind the Alpha.

"I'm right here..." he huffed. Katsuki looked behind the ravenette and smiled seeing the round Omega.

"How are you feeling, Denki?" The blonde asked. He knew how he felt at the end of his pregnancy. Granted it was with quads, and he was only having twins. He knew that for a first litter that any kind of multiples could be rather harsh.

"Tired, my back hurts like... all the time. I sneezed the other day and Hanta and I couldn't tell if my water broke or if I just peed myself..." he said sighing.

Kaminari had a hand on top of his huge bump and the other planted firmly against his back. Helping to support the weight that was drawing his small stature forwards. Katsuki gave a soft chuckle.

"It gets tough towards the end, but I promise in the end it's worth it. You get to meet your pups after all." He said as he glanced down at his legs where his three were currently cuddled.

"Yeah... I just wish I didn't have to do this part." Kaminari said meaning the homestretch of his pregnancy, aka, labor and delivery.

"I won't lie, it hurt like a motherfucker... But that's partially because I was unmedicated and I was alone." Katsuki said. The room became silent as they all remembered back to the day Katsuki's pups were born. How alone he was and how he almost died due to not having an Alpha to rely on during the birthing process. It got to the point that Sero had to step in to make sure that everything went smoothly. Their silence was interrupted by whining and soft calls.

"Momma... I'm hungwy..." Yuki whined softly at him. Bakugou gave a small smile and patted her light green hair.

"Alright, firecracker... Let Mommy say goodbye to Uncle Denki and Uncle Hanta and then he'll come make you a snack okay?" He spoke softly. The little girl nodded and looked at her brothers.

"Momma's gonna make us a snack after Uncles leave." She informed the two boys. Earning a nod from both. She went into the living room and took her brothers with her to wait for their snack. Katsuki exhaled softly and stood up.

"Thank you for taking them once again. I can't thank you enough." He said softly running a hand through his hair.

Kaminari and Sero both waved him off.

"Not a problem." Denki said softly as he rubbed his belly. Yawning softly and shifting his weight on his feet a little as he was starting to get back pain from just standing around.

"Well, we'd better get going. Denki has a tendency to get moody when he's sore." Hanta chuckled softly as his shoulder was playfully punched by the yellow haired Omega.

"Shut it or you're sleeping on the couch tonight." He replied and crossed his arms over his bump.

The blonde gave a soft chuckle.

"Drive safe you guys." Katsuki said giving them a wave.

"Thanks Kat." Sero said waving as well before reaching to hold Kaminari's hand and leading him away from the door. The ash blonde sighed softly as he closed and locked the door after the couple left. He went into the kitchen and started on the triplets' snack. Calling for them when it was finished.

"Kids! Your snack is done! Come sit at the table." He said as he brought it to the table. Setting it down at their placemats. Smirking as the little telltale patter of feet came from the living room into the dining room/kitchen.

"Fank you, Momma." Kaichi said as he sat down in his seat. Starting on the snack of carrot sticks and dip. Surprisingly their favorite snack as of late. Which, Katsuki had no problem with since it was a healthy snack.

"You're welcome." He said softly and went to go do the dishes that were in the sink. Not having enough money or room in his kitchen to have an actual dishwasher. He sighed softly and kept glancing over to make sure the pups were okay before going back to work. He hated the fact that his job wasn't stable enough for him to provide everything of what his kids wanted.

Katsuki was working three jobs most times. His main job was a office assistant at a cooperation. Next to that was a dishwasher at a nearby restaurant. And he even bartended on weekends sometimes. He knew that would have to change when the kids went to school next year. But. What could he do? He was only person with three mouths to feed. He could care less if he ate or had a full meal plan. He was worried about his children. And it didn't make it any better that whenever the kids went to their father's place every other weekend and came back spoiled rotten.

It pissed him off to no end that Izuku felt the need to rub it in his face that he could potentially provide a better life for the kids than he could. He was only one goddamn person run thin! Maybe if he hadn't stuck his dick in him aimlessly and listened about using protection this wouldn't have happened. The ash blonde was shoved out of his thoughts as he heard a plate being set in the sink of already dirty dishes. Looking down he found his quietest pup, Ichiro, placing his dish in the sink. Katsuki managed a smile and washed the dish among the others. Glancing over to make sure his children were eating still and not goofing off.

Later that night, when everyone was bathed and put to bed in their room. He was laying on his bed by himself and going through social media. Katsuki can't help but almost be sickened by the sweet thought of love. He figures It's since he hasn't had that feeling in a long time. The blonde has thought about it multiple times. Maybe he should find someone and go out on a date. But he's just afraid of being hurt like he was before... Left broken, unloved, and in need of help to care not only for himself but for his unborn children. That was a scary time in the blondes life. He'd rather not relive that again if he didn't have to.

But maybe he didn't have to. Maybe there really was a good person out there for him. And maybe... It really could work out. And maybe... just maybe... Katsuki could be happy and in love again. But the blonde deemed that to be a long shot in the dark. And it was almost as if his phone could read his thoughts... Because, a few moments later in his endless scrolling, he came across an add. It wasn't an ordinary add, but... one for a dating app for single Omegas. And immediately he was skeptical. But upon reading more into it. He saw that anyone who signed up was given a background check.

Apparently the creator of the app was an Omega who had gone through Alpha abuse before and now wanted all Omegas to go through a safe and healthy dating process with someone of their choosing. It almost sounded too good to be true. But Katsuki figured... What's the worst that could happen? He met someone and it didn't work out. And that was it. He figured he'd give it a try. He knew the triplets were getting to the age that they started to question why their Momma and Daddy didn't live together like their friends Momma and Daddy did. They had already asked about why they had to go to separate households and why Daddy couldn't stay with Momma or vice versa.

Katsuki wanted nothing more than to give his children the life and loving household they deserved. So maybe this was his chance. Not only at the pups' happiness, but his own. Okay it's a deep breath a slight wince of regret, he put his information into the app. It asked for a valid photo as well as a scan of his driver's license. He figured that was part of how they checked to make sure you weren't a convicted killer or something and gave the app the information he figured was necessary. After his account was set up he was given the basics of how to work the app.

Basically, all he had to do was scroll through profiles that he thought would be a match for him, and press the little heart on the corner of the ones that he really liked. And if they gave him a heart back, they'd be allowed to text back and forth and set up a meeting place to chat further in person. It seemed easy in a sense, but doubt started to creep in. What if some sicko had snuck through the checks? What if no one liked him back? Katsuki tried to think of the positives but negative thoughts crept in along with them. He decided to just sleep on it. And if he still felt that way in the morning he'd delete the app.

Needless to say, his alarm blaring in his ear was the thing that woke him up the next morning. He groaned and tried to ignore it for as long as he could but failed after about ten seconds. He was very irritable first thing in the morning. Which sucked since he usually had to deal with tired and sluggish four year olds. He hummed and turned the alarm off and yawned as he scrolled through any late night notifications he had gotten yesterday. Pausing when he saw a rather new one. He hesitantly opened it and scanned over the profile that had popped up in front of him on the screen.

Biting his lip and read over the absolutely charming males information. Reading that he was a Beta. And that his name was... Kirishima Eijiro. It sounded like a strong name. And he wasn't too bad on the eyes. The piercings that littered his ears and the few on his face sort of added to his masculinity. Katsuki was entranced by the male on screen. Deciding to give it a chance. He quickly pressed the little heart in the corner of the screen and set the phone down just as quickly. Taking a moment to process that he either made a really good choice or a bad one.

Katsuki couldn't be bothered to think too much longer as he perked up hearing a soft whining coming from down the hall. He sighed, realizing his kids were awake. He forgot about his phone on the bed and got up. Going down the hall and to the triplets' room. He opened the door to see two out of three kids sitting up looking for their Momma. Katsuki gave a soft smile and went over to Yuki's bed first since she was the one crying. Carefully calming her down since she was rather loud and he didn't want that first thing this morning.

"Yu baby... It's alright love. Momma's here." He coaxed as he wiped her tears away. The girl reached out her arms wanting her morning tradition now that she was awake. Katsuki kneeled down and picked the girl up in his arms. Holding her close and hugging her tightly. He took a moment before he started to sing a song that his mother used to sing to him waking up. It was a little harder since he had to do it individually three times over, but he knew it would be worth it one day when his kids were grown and could look back on this. So yes, the morning tradition of a hug, the singing of 'You Are My Sunshine' , and a kiss was necessary.

When he finished the song he helped the girl get dressed and took her out to the living room to watch cartoons until breakfast was ready. After that, he repeated twice more for the boys. Exhaling sharply when he had all three immersed in the current kid's show that was on. Katsuki hummed to himself as he stood at the stove making scrambled eggs. His mind kept wandering to the notification from this morning. He wondered who they were, and more importantly why they had liked him. He had put that he had kids in his bio.

He didn't understand why someone would want to get with him if he already had an obvious sign of a past relationship. Maybe it was a misclick? Yeah that had to be it... They were just scrolling through the app and accidentally clicked the heart when they were trying to scroll to the next profile. Yeah. That's the only way that could've gone. He exhaled softly and plated the breakfast for his children and had them come into the dining room/kitchen to sit. He smirked softly as the three were nearly falling into their plates.

"C'mon you three... Finish up and I'll let you go back to bed for a little while. I need to pack your guys' bags for your dads anyways." He said as he sat down to eat with them.

The kids seemed to perk up at the notion of being able to crawl back into bed if they finished. Starting on their breakfast. He made sure they were all taking decent breaks between bites and not rushing through that they'd feel sick later on. He didn't feel like dealing with that. He had a lot to do today anyways. After breakfast he'd have to pack them up and get them ready for their dad to pick up. Plus he'd have to call in to work and let them know of his upcoming heat. That's why they were going to their dad's for the weekend. Just so he can suffer and not have to worry about the kids too much.

Katsuki sighed and ate his portion. Looking to see Kaichi was done eating first. He excused the boy from the table and left him go back to bed. Not long after the other two finished up. Going to the bedroom as well. He sighed softly and gathered up the dirty dishes. Setting them in the sink and making sure they all got to bed okay before going to sit down on his own bed. Exhaling a little and pulling his phone over to scroll through it. He finally decided to take a leap of faith, opening the app and looking at the notification fully. He also noticed he had received a message not too long ago from Kirishima. Wondering what it was he had to say he opened it and was met with a simple text.

'Hey, do you have sunburn or are you always that hot? I'm sorry... It was a cheesy line I know. But I'd love to get to know you better. Text back if you can!'

Katsuki bit his lip. Who knew that a cheesy pick up line would lead to a fairytale romance that Katsuki never thought would happen him.
