"It's a perfect time to confess, bro!" Kirishima flashed his trademark smile at Kaminari. "Look! He's chilling, in a corner. Perfect!"
"And, if you get rejected, you can drown your sorrows in Capri-Suns." Sero added.
"But he's not going to get rejected!" Mina said. "Go. Go do it. Go confess! C'mon, you've had a crush on the guy since you saw him at the frickin' sports festival! It's the end of the year!"
Bakugou leaned back on the couch. "Just do it, for fuck's sake."
"And a ringing endorsement from Bakugou!" The pink teen laughed.
"Shut up, Raccoon Eyes. Now, Dunce Face, you need to confess now or you'll lose Eyebags for good."
Denki looked around the room, trying to find the familiar lavender hair, to no avail.
"He's over there." Sero pointed to a darkened corner with a lot less people. And sure enough, Shinsou was leaning against the wall, texting someone on his phone.
Kaminari took a quick breath and then walked over, mind buzzing with both electricity and scattered thoughts.
"Hey? Shinsou?" the smaller student asked, causing Shinsou to look up from his phone.
"Oh. Hey. What's up?"
"I, uh," Denki tried to focus but the music was too much. "Can we go on the balcony for a moment?"
"Sure." Hitoshi shrugged and put his phone in his pocket, opening the balcony door for the two of them. The night air was cold but refreshing, the moon full and shining bright.
"So." Denki laughed nervously.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it's just, ugh-" The electric hero-in-training sighed.
"I've liked you ever since the sports festival and I know you probably don't even like me back but I thought I'd take my chance-"
Suddenly, Denki's rambling was cut off by Shinsou's soft lips as he gently kissed the blonde boy.
Caught by surprise but happy nonetheless, he leaned into the insomniac's touch, who broke away a few seconds later.
"I'm sorry, was that fine-? I should've asked-"
"Oh, it's more than fine." Denki smiled as he leaned in for another electrifying kiss. "It's perfect."
