She's Mine
Kim Geon and Lee Ikjun just finished their morning rounds and they are resting in the GS Medical Office. Ikjun noticed that the resident was having a hard time organizing his reports so he assisted him and answered all his questions. Geon is thankful to have helpful and kind sunbaenim’s in the hospital.
After a few minutes, Jeong-won entered the office, he was waiting for Gyeo-ul to finish her surgery since they both agreed to have lunch together. Geon continued his tasks, while the two professors were busy with their phones.
Ik-jun got bored with the game and decided to have fun before lunch.
“Dr Kim, I heard from Lee Gyosonim the news” he starts his master plan to tease his whipped bestfriend Ahn Jeongwon.
“What news gyosonim?” the curious Geon asks the HPB Surgeon.
“Don’t be shy” he smirks “We all know that you like Dr Jang Gyeoul” He cheeky smiles.
Jeongwon who is busy with his phone, assisting with some inquiries about the DLL (Daddy Long Legs) program starts to pay attention to the conversation but still pretends to text.
“Animida Gyosonim” The resident profusely denied.
“Yah! There is nothing wrong with liking someone” Ik-jun stood up from his seat and walked closer to the resident. He badly wants to see his best friend's reaction “ Well, unless you are planning to steal her from her boyfriend” he smirks again.
Jeong-won stops typing and looks at them, he is bothered with the conversation while Ik-jun starts to have fun, seeing this side of Jeong-won is always fun.
“Gyosonim, I will not do that” the poor resident says again, since that dinner night with the GS professors they started to tease him with his crush - Dr Jang Gyeoul. Gyeoul was kind enough to assure the resident that she’s fine but he doesn’t want to have an awkward atmosphere between them.
“Dr Kim Geon there is nothing wrong liking uri Gyeoul-ie” He pats his back.
“She’s pretty - look at those dimples and fluffy cheeks” Geon and Jeong-won both nodded. Jeong-won agrees, he is always tempted to puke her fluffy cheeks whenever he sees her munching food.
“Uri, Gyeoulie is a great and hard working doctor, she always extends her helping hands. Did you know that she survived her residency years alone assisting all 13 professors?” Ik-jun continues to enumerate the good characteristics of his-self-proclaimed-daughter.
“She’s also pretty inside and out” after hearing the way Ik-jun describes his girlfriend Jeong-won cannot help but smile and realize that he is really lucky.
“I really don’t know why his boyfriend is so slow” he looks at his best friend who is clearly annoyed and bothered. You don’t need words from Andrea, his face says it all. “So, you still have a chance Geon” he smirks again.
“Yah! Shut up Lee Ikjun” Jeong-won shouted, he had enough.
“Yes, Ahn Gyosunim?” His best friend cheekily asks (with the face of victory) “What were you saying?” he adds.
“You are so noisy, I am doing something I cannot concentrate” Jeong-won’s white lies.
“Gyosumin, you need to be mindful and please stop being a ticking bomb hmm?” He remembers his girlfriend's reminder, “You don’t want to disappoint her Ahn Jeongwon,” he reminds himself.
“Going back to our conversation, Dr Kim” Ik-jun noticed that Jeong-won was trying to control his words and actions so he continued teasing him.
“Speaking of Gyeo-ul’s boyfriend, If I were him I already put a ring in that delicate fingers the moment we became a couple ”
“You can no longer find another Jang Gyeoul - ” Ik-jun's babbling was interrupted because a freshly showered Gyeoul entered the GS office.
“Annyeonghaseyo, Dr Kim, Lee Gyosonim” she bows and then looks at her boyfriend “ Annyeonghaseyo Ahn Gyosonim” she smiles and kind of smile that is only reserved for him.
“Gyeoul-ah, we are just talking about you” The fellow sat in her work station next to Kim Geon.
“Me?” she awkwardly asks and starts switching on the computer to do her tasks before lunch.
“Yes, By the way how was the surgery?” he asks.
She faces her mentor, “It went well Gyosunim” She smiles “We just need to monitor the patient”
“That’s good” , giving her a thumbs up. “ Gyeoul-ah I told Geon-ah that there is nothing wrong with liking you” Gyeoul was shocked with the statement of Ik-jun.
“Hehehehe, Lee Gyosunim” She awkwardly tries to laugh and side glances her boyfriend - deja vu she thought. Jeong-won looks like he’s had enough and about to burst.
“Aish, If I only know your boyfriend” he looks at Jeongwon, “I will tell advice him to get his act faster else he will lose you” Ik-jun stumps his feet like a kid, acting cute. Awkward silence.
“I will Lee Ikjun sae-kki” Jeong-won stood up from his seat and grabs Gyeo-ul’s hands and intertwined his fingers with hers “Gyeol-ah I had enough with his nonsense, Let’s eat”
