Sunlight shined through the almost transparent curtains and an annoying alarm could be heard in each corner of the room, possibly in other places of the house too.
Amber opened her eyes lazily, still blind by sleepiness, hissing slightely because of a sunshine that had hit her eye, making her almost scream internally.
After a minute, her eyes were getting more used to all of the light coming from the curtains, she looked over to the little table by her side of the bed, taking her phone in her hands, she turned it on and turned off the irritating sound that came from it, looking over at the hour, 06:30 being showed on the cracked phone.
She got up from the bed, only to feel someone trying to pull her back in the fluffy and comfortable blanket.
"Honey, I need to get up." Amber said, staring at the blonde girl who was holding her arm.
"Just five more minutes, please." Lumine looked at her, golden eyes staring lazily at the brunette.
"Dear, you also need to get up, we have work today, I'll go wake up Paimon." Amber kissed her wife's forehead and got up from the bed, stretching her arms in the air.
Amber walked to the bedroom door and opened it, walking to the door next to theirs, opening and looking inside, finding the light switch while patting the wall and turning it on, looking over to the small bed and seeing a small figure move slightly under the covers, Amber then walked over it and stopped by the side of the bed.
"Paimon." She said softly while shaking the girl carefully, "Time to wake up."
Paimon opened her eyes slowly and stared at Amber, finally getting her body up and sitting on the bed while lightly scratching her eyes with closed fists.
"Good morning, Mama." Paimon then yawned and shook her head to wake up more and get used to the sunlight.
"Good morning, are you feeling well?" Amber asked while patting the girl's head.
"Yes, is Mom awake too?" It was Paimon's turn to ask.
"Yes, she is probably making breakfast now, do you wanna eat already?" Amber looked at the girl.
"Yes! Paimon wants to eat!" Paimon said, or better, screamed.
Amber chuckled, "Alright, you can go to the kitchen, Mom is gonna go back into her room and put on her work clothes."
The smaller girl nodded and went running to the kitchen, Amber following her but changing directions and going to her room instead, she walked over to the closet and pulled the police uniform, a simple dark blue shirt with the "Favonius Police" symbol above the left chest side, tight dark blue jeans and a hat with another symbol on the center of it.
Amber didn't waste no time and began putting on her uniform, if she could be honest, she disliked how blue looked on her, but it was obrigatory to wear those clothes, there was nothing that she could do to not wear that, she wished that one day they would allow her to wear another clothes, maybe even personalized uniforms made by someone, oh she would absolutely adore that!
Shaking those thoughts off, she went over to the full length mirror and stared at herself, Amber looked over to the table next to the bed and grabbed the hair brush that was sitting there, she began brushing her hair, trying to leave it the way she wants it to look like.
It didn't take too long before her hair was looking good and presentable, just the way she likes it, she put the hair brush down and gave herself a last check in the mirror before leaving the bedroom and going to the kitchen, finding her beautiful wife cooking something.
Amber went over to the blonde girl and hugged her from the back, smiling softly while Lumine tried to focus in finishing breakfast, ending up being actually able to make it.
"Bunny, I need to serve the food in the table now." Lumine said, Amber huffed but got out of the embrace, sitting down in her chair and looking at Paimon, who had a playful smile on her face.
Lumine got three plates and began putting waffles and fruits with them, accompanied with whipped cream and mapled syrup, it was very easy to hear Paimon's tummy rumbling to the smell of it, the blonde girl then took the three plates and placed them in front of each person, Paimon didn't waste no time and began eating like tomorrow didn't exist, while Amber eated it calmly, enjoying every bite of it.
"Done!" Paimon said, her face messy with whipped cream drops, making Amber chuckle slightly, "Is there something on Paimon's face?"
"Here, let me clean it for you." Lumine said and pulled a tissue, going over to Paimon's face and cleaning it carefully, "You had whipped cream in your face."
"Ah thank you, Mom!" Paimon gave another smile, this one being more soft.
"Alright, since you finished first, go and choose your clothes so you can go to school today, and remember to brush your teeth after it!" Amber said.
"Okay!" Paimon got down from her chair and began running to her room while jumping.
"I'll go brush my teeth, thank you for the food, my love." Amber gave Lumine a kiss on the cheek and went to the bathroom.
Amber took her toothbrush and put some toothpaste on it, she then began brushing her teeth while staring at her reflection and smiling slightly, after she had finished, she simply spitted the toothpaste and washed her mouth with mouthwash, also spitting it after thirty seconds and washing her toothbrush, she then put away her toothbrush and left the bathroom, seeing Paimon pass by her in the way.
"Hey Bunny, your lunch is in the table, it's the red one." Lumine said with her back turned as she was washing the dishes.
"Okay, my love." Amber went over to the table and took her lunchbox, putting it on her backpack, walking to the door of the apartment and sitting down so she could put on her shoes, hearing tiny footsteps behind her.
Paimon sitted by her side and putted on her little boots, humming softly an unknown song.
Amber got up and so did Paimon, who was putting on her little backpack and staring at Amber with another smile.
"Are you girls ready to go?" Lumine asked while walking to them.
"Yes!" They screamed together.
"Alright then, have a good day at school..." Lumine got down and kissed Paimon's cheek, "and a good day at work." She got up once again and gave Amber a quick kiss.
"Bye mom!" Paimon said while walking outside of their apartment.
"Bye honey!" Amber also said while walking outside.
"Bye bye!" Lumine closed the door and the two girls began walking.
Amber and Paimon left the building and went in direction of the kindergarten while talking about what they were gonna do today.
"Paimon is gonna play with Klee, Diona and Qiqi today!" The white haired girl exclaimed, "We will also finish our clay art project!"
"Oh really? That's so nice, show me when you finish it, okay?" Amber said.
"Okay! Paimon will make sure to show you!" She smiled.
"Paimon!" Both girls looked at the front and noticed that they had arrived, "Good morning!"
"Klee! Good morning!" The girls hugged each other while giggling.
"Well then, Mama will be going now." Amber said and crouched down, "Have a good day in class, Paimon!" She said and kissed the white haired girl's cheek.
"Bye mama!" Paimon waved and went running inside the colorful building with Klee.
Amber left the area and began walking to the police station, a smile plastered on her face as she hummed the unknown song her daughter was humming that morning and waved to people who were also walking to their jobs.
She arrived in ten minutes at the police station and entered the place, immediately writing her name down at the presence clipboard that was in the wall so it would prove that she went to work that day. As she turned around to leave, she heard someone calling her.
"Amber!" It was Jean, the captain, "There was a reported robbery at Flora's Flower Shop, I need you to go there and catch the thief and bring him here."
"Alright, I'll be going!" The brunette turned around and grabbed a pair of handcuffs, also grabbing a taser and running out of the local as fast as possible.
As she finally arrived at the flower shop, she found the owner crying, looking at the broken glass and empty vault, tears ruining her eye makeup while she tried desperately to comprehend why would someone steal from her, Amber walked to her and the girl's attention went to the brunette.
"O-Officer, you're h-here!" The crying girl said while choking on her sobs, "P-Please find the culprit!"
"I will, do not worry!" Amber said, "Do you have any idea where the thief went?"
"Y-You could take a l-look at the security c-camera's recording, maybe t-there will be some clue in t-them." And she went back to crying.
Amber sat down at the chair and turned on the computor, finding the files of the security camera almost immeadiately and clicking on the most recent recordings.
"Alright, so the culprit had blonde hair..." She wrote it down in a little notepad, "And wore a green shirt, right."
She got up from the computer and looked at the poor owner, who was still crying about all the money that was stolen.
"Miss, do you know someone who wears a green shirt and has short, messy blonde hair?" Amber asked.
"H-Huh? Now t-that you mentioned it, I d-do know someone!" The girl looked at her, "There is t-this guy, he lives i-in the house next the cathedral, I t-think his name is Albert!" She exclaimed, "He is a-always talking about the new high school idol, Barbara!"
"Ah, Barbara, the captain's little sister, I do know her." Amber said, "Thank you for the information, please give me your number so I can call you when we find the culprit."
"Here, t-take this card, it h-has my number on it!" The owner gave Amber a card, her phone number in there.
"Alright, I'll be going now!" Amber waved at the girl and left the place, going to the police station.
Arriving at the place, the brunette began searching for a certain person, finding them in seconds and running up to them.
"Kaeya, I need your help." Amber said.
"Oh? What is it?" The blue haired boy asked.
"There was a thief at Flora's Flower Shop and I need you to come with me, I may have found the culprit already but I might need help in case they try to escape." She answered.
"Alright, let's go then." He gave a smug smile and began walking after the brunette.
It didn't take too long to arrive at the place, the cathedral wasn't that far away and neither was the house of the main suspect, which was painfully obvious that it was his since the carpet in front of the door had Barbara's face on it. Not wasting any time, they knocked on it, hearing footsteps getting closer and closer to the door.
"Can I help--" The blonde man stopped in his tracks, "P-Police? What are y-you guys doing h-here?" He stuttered nervously.
"We are here to investigate your house, you are currently the biggest suspect of the flower shop robbery." Kaeya said, "If you try to resist, it will only get things worse for you."
"W-What? I didn't do anything!" Albert screamed defensively.
"We still have to check." Amber pushed the man out of her way and entered the house, searching every single part of it.
As she investigated the house, the brunette could clearly see the man was obsessed with the pop idol, posters were in every single wall of his house, different albums of the singer in shelfs, not to mention the fridge covered in stickers of her famous catchphrases and drawings of her.

That was when she checked under his bed and found a big black backpack, the same one used in the video, next to it was a bodypillow, which had an edited full body picture of Barbara in a compromising position with no clothes on.
"Kaeya, put the handcuffs on him, quick!" She demanded and the blue haired boy wasted no time, immediately pressing the blonde one against the wall and putting the handcuffs on him.
"Let me go, let m-me go right now!" The blonde man screamed.
Amber ran to his computer and turned it on, going to his search history and photo files, finding even more disgusting things about the pop idol, like photos of her walking to school and even creepy pictures of her sleeping at the backstage of some shows, the brunette picked her phone up and called Jean, telling her the story as fast as she could.
"Jean is on her way, she is coming with two police cars." Amber said as she put away her phone.
"Oh? Did you find something else other than the money?" Kaeya asked while the blonde man ugly cried and blabbered some incorrect words.
"Three words, pedophile and stalker." Amber answered, staring at the crying man in pure disgust.
"That's gonna get him at least twenty-six years in prison, with also the robbery, something like thirty years." Kaeya said, pressing the man harder against the wall.
Police sirens could be heard, making everyone look at the police cars that had arrived. Jean jumped out of the car and went directly to Kaeya and Amber.
"Put him in the back of the car, the other police car will stay here to keep investigating if they find anything else that can be used as proof against him in the upcoming judgement." Jean said and two police men grabbed the guy from Kaeya's grip, putting him in the back of the car, "Amber, could you give me the flower shop owner's number so I can inform her that her money has been found?"
Amber nodded and gave her the card which she got from the shop owner some time ago.
"Alright, thank you, you can go to the park now so you can see if anyone is lost there." Jean smiled and entered the car, waving to Amber and Kaeya while smiling and leaving the place.
"I'll stay here and help the others in finding more things, have a good day." Kaeya said and entered the house, leaving Amber behind.
The brunette left the place and walked in direction of the park, picking up her phone, she saw it was already lunch time and decided to eat in one of the park benches, taking her lunchbox and opening it, finally eating the delicious food that her amazing wife had done for her.
Staring at the sky, Amber had a smile on her face while thinking about her lover and eating the food, satisfied sighs comed out of her mouth, happiness and love floating around her like some kind of blessed aura.
As she finished her food, she had put it away in her backpack and got up from the bench, walking around the park and watching everyone to make sure everything was okay.
One hour had passed and everything seemed to still be okay, that was when a crying little girl came running up to her.
"M-Miss..." The girl called her.
"Hello, did something happened?" Amber crouched down, staring at the girl with worry on her face.
"I... I can't find my p-parents--" The girl began crying even more.
"Oh dear, here, come with me and we'll find your parents!" Amber said and gave her hand, the little girl clinging to her arm.
Both girls began walking around the park, it only took ten minutes when they heard someone calling them.
"Sunshine, there you are!" A tall woman said and ran up to the little girl, "Thank you so much for finding her, officer!"
"It is no problem, that's my job after all!" Amber smiled and watched as the little girl hugged her mother, giggling happily.
"Well then, we will be going now, say bye to the officer, sweetie." The woman said while picking up her child.
"Buh-bye Miss!" And they left the place.
Amber smiled watching them leave, she turned around and continued on with her day, walking around the park and ocasionally saying "Hello!" to people who were also walking there.
And another three hours had passed with a calming afternoon going by, only fifty minutes till she could go and get Paimon back from kindergarten, then go home and melt in the embrace of her lovely wife while laughing with her precious daughter.
Amber decided to go back to the police station and see if there was anything to do, she left the park and went in direction of the place, humming the unknown song again.
"Oh, Amber! I was gonna search for you." Jean said.
"Do you need anything, captain?" Amber asked.
"Yes, I have to leave early since me and Lisa need to go grocery shopping before we take Klee back home with us, I need you to call the night time captain so he can come here." Jean looked at her.
"Sure, you can go and I'll call him!" Amber smiled.
"Thank you, bye!" The blonde woman grabbed her purse and went running out of the place.
The brunette took her phone out of her pocket and searched for the man's contact, finding it immeadiately and calling him, he answered the call and she began explaining the situation.
"Alright then, I'm coming there, give me twenty minutes." He said through the phone.
"Okay, I'll be waiting." She said and hang up the call, tucking her phone back in her pocket.
Amber sat down in one of the chairs and waited, Kaeya was sitting by her side, both of them sharing some small talk and laughing about old memories, only for the night time captain appear and tell them that they can go home since he had already informed the other police men about that.
"Well then, see you tomorrow!" The brunette said.
"See ya." And they both walked in opposite directions.
The girl went in the direction of the kindergarten, watching as she saw other parents passing by her with their children giggling about their art project and showing it proudly while their parents praised them.
"Mama!" She heard someone call her.
"Paimon! Come here!" Amber smiled and her daughter came running at her, clinging to her arm.
"Look! Paimon made a fish out of clay!" The white haired girl showed her the clay figure, smiling brightly.
"It looks great!" Amber looked at her, "Ready to go home?"
"Yes!" The girl smiled and both of them began walking.
Paimon talked about how was her day at school to Amber, who gived a different reaction to every single thing that her daughter was saying, like about her team winning in P.E today and Qiqi almost falling asleep in the middle of class, it didn't take too long before they both got home.
"Mom! We're home!" Paimon screamed and took off her shoes.
"Hm? Welcome back!" Lumine said while looking at them.
Amber took off her shoes and entered the house, "Well, time to take a bath."
"Paimon wants to take a bath with Mama!" Paimon smiled once again.
"Alright, I'll go prepare the bathtub, are you taking a bath too dear?" Amber asked.
"Sure, I just need to turn on the oven, we are gonna have pizza for tonight!" Lumine said and Paimon jumped up and down.
"Yay!" The little girl celebrated.
Amber smiled and went to the bathroom, turning on the water and checking for the right temperature with her hand, getting it right after five minutes.
"The bath is ready!" She screamed and took off her clothes, entering the bathtub with a satisfied smile on her face.
The door opened suddently, revealing her daughter and her wife there.
"We're here!" Paimon said and they both entered the water with the brunette.
Amber grabbed the kids shampoo and disposed some on her hand, mixing it on both of her hands and then scrubing it on Paimon's head, who was currently playing with a rubber duck.
Meanwhile, Lumine had finished washing her own head and began passing shampoo on Amber's hair, making sure it was cleaning it nicely.
After some minutes of washing each other's hair and giggling about the rubber duck sounds, the three girls got up and left the bathroom, Paimon running to her room so she could put on her favorite pajama while Lumine and Amber went to their bedroom and dressed up in their matching slumbersuits.
Paimon went to her mothers room, holding two hairdryers and plunging both of them, handing Amber one and Lumine the other.
Lumine sat at the back of Amber's head while Paimon sitted at the front, the brunette picked up the hairbrush and turned on the hairdryer in her hand, brushing her daughter's hair while drying it, Lumine doing the same but with Amber's hair.
It didn't take too long before their hair was done and looking pretty, they turned off the hairdryers and gave it to Paimon, who ran out of there to put it back in their place.
Lumine went to the kitchen and checked the pizza in the oven, looking nice and pretty, she put on some oven mitts and grabbed the pizza, putting in on the table while Paimon stared at it with hungry eyes.
"It looks so good, Paimon can't wait anymore!" The white haired girl said.
Amber arrived at the kitchen, "Oh! It smells nice!"
"Well, it's already in slices so you girls can take one, but be careful because it's still kinda hot!" Lumine warned and placed some plates in front of them.
Amber took a slice and placed it in Paimon's plate, who was already starting to eat it, blowing it carefully so it wouldn't burn her mouth. Lumine did the same and took slices for herself and also gave some to Amber, who began eating with a smile on her face.
Paimon was the first one to finish and Lumine reminded her to brush her teeth before going to bed, making the little girl run to the bathroom the brush her teeth, Amber coming after her and also brushing her teeth.
By the time Paimon had finished, Lumine had entered the bathroom and began brushing her teeth, leaving the bathroom with Amber laughing about what happened at her work today.
Both women entered their daughter's room and Lumine tucked her in bed, kissing her forehead and wishing her a good night, Paimon said good night to both of her mothers and they left the room, closing the door behind them.
After that, they turned off the lights of the kitchen and living room, entering their bedroom and getting in bed.
"Good night, my bunny." Lumine said and gave her a kiss on the lips.
"Good night, my sunshine." Amber responded.
And so they both fell asleep, cuddling happily and full of love.
