Summary
When Childe would drink it in the evening, Zhongli's powers would mingle with his own, putting the Snezhnayan into a deep sleep from which he would not awaken, until Zhongli allowed him so. It gave the Archon enough time to properly claim the younger without the danger of his beloved waking up during their first mating.
The ginger had thanked him with the promise to try the wine out the same day before leaving to clear out some debts that were still owed to the Fatui.
