aether was slowly walking down the street going to school. The road was calm and aether was glad. that meant he could be in his own bubble and think about whatever is mind thought of at the moment. He took a deep breath enjoying the outside air entering is lungs. he was so peacef-
“AETHER! are you listening” Venti called him
aether got out of his little dream.
“yeah yeah” aether said clearly not paying attention but it did not bother venti who continued to speak about……who goddamns knows its venti.
who was he kidding morning were and never will be peaceful. he looked around him, he was surrounded like usual by many other teenagers is age. Venti was on his right babbling about random shit, kazuha on the other end was on his left quiet as usual reading his music sheet. Razor and Bennett were behind them playing a little game with Xiao on their side with one hearphone on and his resting bitch faces that totally said “don't talk to me right now or you're gonna regret it”. Further behind were kaeya, diluc, Childe and zhongli. Diluc was being “emo” has kaeya says, listening to his music with a even bigger bitch face then Xiao (which was really surprising but really not considering its Diluc) and him, kaeya and Childe were having some sort of debates while Childe and zhongli were being lovey dovey holding hands and stealing occasional kisses when Childe wasn't screaming at diluc and kaeya on their awful music and culinary taste.
Kaeya, Diluc and Bennett always tagged along in the morning because their house was on our way to school. Childe always found a way to get up super early to come wake up zhongli at the orphanage. this guy really loved to see his boyfriend sleeping in the morning, before he started blasting pop songs to wake him up and by that matter waking everybody else who wasn't already awaked. Aether at this point couldn't count how many times kazuha and Xiao almost strangled him, venti quite literally threw a knife at him, razor tried to bite him and how many times he thought about taking the katana who was on display on the wall and stabbing him with it. Trust me getting woke up by Childe singing (more like screaming at the top of his lungs) some Ariana grande song wasn't a pleasant experience. On the rare times Diluc came with Kaeya to have a sleepover at the orphanage Childe would blast my chemical romance and panic! at the disco even if it was a Sunday morning. Trust me Childe stopped doing it when he had a little……..accident…..with Diluc. This morning it was Adele’s turn to wake us up.
But aether morning torture wasn't over yet they still yet had to go get the girls. They weren't near as annoying and loud has the guys *cough* venti, kaeya and Childe *cough* but when they were all together trust me you might want some earplugs. the 5 girls were their own phenomena on their own.
Jean is a kind girl you can really feel the big sister vibes coming out of her tho she can be stern sometimes. Barbara her…….she is a sweet bubbly girl (even tho I'm starting to think she really hates venti by the way she looks and talks to him). both sister are the principal daughter and boy can you tell their fathers proud of them. Lisa is a beautiful girl who is sweet until you piss her off (the best way to piss her off is the break one of her book). When shes pissed off you can quite literally see a snake rising behind her ready to eat you. We knew her for a long time because her parents run a library and the orphanage we reside in but we are still as scared. Beidou and Rosaria are very energetic girls, no wonder they get along so well with kaeya, Childe and venti. Those 5 always have plans to go clubbing and drinking (3th years life i guess being 18 really opened a lot of doors for those hopeless drunkars). The 2 girls are childhood friends and it shows like how could they be so similar.
The group walked a little bit more and they all stopped at a very familiar apartment. in front the apartment were 5 girls waiting.
“HEY HEY HEY” screamed kaeya when he saw the girls “how are y'all doing ladies”
“GOOD!” screamed beidou and rosaria in unison running to kaeya, venti and Childe and doing their secret handshakes.
“cmon y'all are 18 and still have secret handshakes? even Bennett doesn't have some with his friends and he's in 1st grade. grow up” Diluc said annoyed.
“FOREVER YOUNG” screamed in unison Childe, kaeya, rosaria, venti and beidou. Those 5 are just idiots. they would literally jump off a window under the pretext that we only live once. yes i talk with experience (they jumped from the second floors window of their class homeroom).
seconds after, everybody was back on their way school. Xiao was now talking with Bennett and razor, Jean, Lisa and Diluc were enjoying their time together, Barbara and kazuha were talking about their band, the 5 drunkars were talking super loud while zhongli held Childe hand (could they stop their PDA some people are single here). Aether sighed while walking and felt an hand grab his. He looked up and it was kazuha. he looked at him with a small smile knowing how much aether wanted a little bit of calm in the mornings. Aether smiled at him back softly. Him and kazuha always had a close relationship because they knew each other even before the orphanage. Kazuha found him when they were little at the back of and ally and brought him with him to the orphanage. Its been years and they are still as close, they even decided to celebrate their birthday the same day, the day kazuha found aether because neither of them remembers their real birthday or even what their life was before becoming orphans.
Aether squeezed his hands a little bit and continued walking a smile forming on his face. From the side zhongli looked at the two and saw the smile on aether’s face and smiled softly too until venti looked at him trying to tell him something with is eyes pointing at Xiao. Zhongli turned to Xiao who was previously talking with razor and benny boy and saw that he had distanced himself from them and was walking loosely one the side. When Zhongli looked closely it looked like Xiao was sad and a little angry and was giving aether side glances.
Zhongli bent down to venti hears and whispered “Xiao’s not ok is. Why is he so gloomy?”
“he’s jealous obviously” venti responded still whispering “its not the first time”
“who is he jealous of? aether? does he love kazuha?!?” Zhongli said really surprised that he hadn't seen it all this time.
“no you stupid bitch! he's jealous of kazuha. he loves our boy aether” venti said clearly done with Zhongli’s bullshit “you're the most smart and dumb bitch i know”.
“ohhhhh” Zhongli said now understanding “what should we do. my baby looks kinda sad now” He said concerned for his son-…...friend
“right now we should cheer him up the best way we know” venti said determinate
“ay ay” Zhongli said ready to cheer the little bean up the best way he could
Zhongli, Venti and Xiao were and are still super close. They met each others when they were really little in an abandoned city. the 3 of them not remembering anything before they were 5 instantly became friends and tried to fend of for themselves together. They build an unbreakable bond that went thru a lot of messed up shit. Until one day they got taken to the orphanage by a little girl. They don't remember much about the little girl who brought them but the first time they saw aether they had a sensation of deja vu. They still don't know who and how she found them but they are all grateful that she did because now they have a life worth living. They have friends, education, people that care about them and zhongli even tasted to the luxury people call love. So when one of them is sad or in danger they 2 others are gonna run to him with they full support.
