Tommy felt his insides twist painfully. The sight of Techno, so calm and composed, was a stark contrast to the turmoil he felt inside himself.
At the sound of the door, Techno glanced up, surprise flitting across his face. It quickly morphed into visible concern as he took in Tommy's bruised and battered form. "What happened to you?" he asked, hastily abandoning his book on the coffee table.
