Summary
Darryl Wilson is pretty sure his son is gay. He’s not an idiot, after all. He knows what those blushing cheeks and furtive glances at his friends mean. But where he falls short is what to do about it. Frank was a good dad. A great dad, even. But he didn’t prepare Darryl for this.
That’s how Darryl finds himself standing in front of his neighbor’s house. No, not the woman who just remarried and her son, or the single dad whose house always smells like pot. “The hippie freaks” as Carol calls them. And Darryl can’t say she’s wrong exactly. They are a little out there, and their kids are pretty rambunctious at the soccer matches, but they’re also proudly displaying a little rainbow flag in their rock garden out front and, well, Darryl is desperate.
