The first thing that Lucy saw as she opens her eyes is a ceiling with pinkish color. She was lying down with her arms beside her, a cool air passing through the window nearby. A sheet was covering half of her body, as if she was sleeping in this bed.
'Where…' She slowly sat up, turning her head to the left to look at her surroundings. 'The heck am I?'
The sound of a door opening loudly then erupted her thoughts, revealing a man with pink hair and sharp eyes. He has a white scarf covering his neck, his lips forming a large smile.
“Come on, Lucy! We have a job to do!”
'Don’t just barge into a ladies’ room so suddenly, Natsu!' Is what her mind replied to his statement. However, she immediately refuses to say that out for some reason. It was as if she wasn’t the one replying to him.
“Lucy?” A small blue cat then flew towards her, his worried eyes finding her own. “Are you okay?”
'Of course. I’m perfectly fine!'
“I’m…” After a few seconds of silence, she then found the unfamiliar sound of her voice. “Who are you…?”
The cat who was flying in front of the puzzled woman then stood on her bed.
“What are you talking about, Lucy? Are you okay?”
She stared at the cat with a confused expression and frowned. Standing up, she then walked towards the mirror, only to look at a woman who has blonde hair, large brown eyes, and a body that she couldn’t remember – for some reason.
“Why can’t I…” She turned around and looked at the guy with pink hair. “Who are you guys? Why can’t I remember anything? Where the heck even am I?!”
“Lucy…” The cat murmured under his breath, tears forming on the side of his eyes. “You’re starting to scare me.”
“Yeah what’s up Luce?” The guy then walked towards the confused lady and leaned in, startling her from the loss of personal space. “You still have the same smell though.”
Amidst the confusion and terror, she frantically pushed his tall frame. “S-stay away from me!”
“Lucy…” The blue cat began to tear up, making her guilty.
But… she doesn’t even know who they are to begin with!

As per the description made by the winged blue cat whose name is Happy, they currently reside in a city called Magnolia. It is the city where their guild called “Fairy Tail” is built. She, Lucy Heartfilia, apparently is a member of it.
“Me? A Fairy Tail wizard?” Lucy asks in an incredulous manner as they continue to stroll in the streets of Magnolia.
“You can look at your right hand for proof, Luce.” Says the pink haired man whose name was Natsu. “I can still remember the day you got it haha. You looked so excited.”
He gently laughed, suspiciously tugging something deep within her chest. Lucy placed her right hand on top of it before deciding to stare at the ‘proof’ that Natsu mentioned.
On her right hand is a pink emblem mark that pertains to the combination of a fairy having a tail. It was a really beautiful mark and Lucy couldn’t help but admire it even if she can’t recall how she ever got it.
“Hey Happy, can you tell Mira about Lucy’s situation? I’ll try something else in the meantime.” Natsu says while pulling Lucy’s hand on his own. This action immediately made the blonde girl’s face red from surprise. “We’re counting on you!”
“Aye sir!” Says the blue cat before flying away from them.
“Um, Natsu…” Lucy tried to pull her hand away, but Natsu wouldn’t let her. “What is the meaning of this?”
He impishly smiled at her; a smile that made the young lady melt even if she can’t remember him. “Being your boyfriend comes with a lot of perks, Luce. This is just one of them.”
'B-boyfriend?!'
Lucy’s head combusted, making Natsu laugh.

“This is your house?” Lucy asked Natsu upon arriving at a small house just near the border of Magnolia’s Forest. It has white walls with some grasses covering a few parts of it. It only added to the appeal of the house, simple and antique. It’s quite lovely, in Lucy’s opinion. In front of them is a sign that says: Natsu & Happy.
'Guess that answers my question.'
Nonetheless, Natsu answered. “Yeah! It’s my house.” He tugged at Lucy’s hand as he pulls her towards it. “I kept a few things that might make you remember who you are. Happy’s still investigating how this happened, so I’ll do my best to make you remember in the meantime.”
Lucy raised her eyebrows at his statement before taking a step inside his house. Natsu was still holding her hand as they continue to stroll inside, making the young lady look at the interior of the house.
A wave of unknown emotions flooded her as Lucy continues to stare at the things Natsu kept from his previous endeavors, as he stated.
“Can you remember this maid uniform?” Natsu points his finger at it, widely smiling upon remembering something. “This is what you wore when we had our first mission as a team. Happy and I were only joking, but you took it so seriously! Hahaha, it was a blast!”
Lucy intently stared at it, wanting to remember it seeing how happy Natsu is. However, when she couldn’t, disappointment was the only thing that can be seen on her face. Natsu seems to have noticed this, so he immediately pulled her away to show her a few more things.
But sadly, nothing worked. Not the posters he had kept, nor the souvenirs he got after doing a mission with the team.
Lucy can’t remember anything, her name, her family, her job, and even her own boyfriend.
'What happened to me and why is this happening…?'
As silence looms over the dark atmosphere, Natsu can barely see Lucy’s face, but immediately felt something wet dripping on his hand that was still interlaced with hers.
“Lucy…” Natsu pulled her small frame and embraced it as she continues to cry her pain away.
“Why can’t I remember anything? Why is this happening? Being ignorant about the things that are supposed to be important to me tears me up, Natsu.” Lucy says as she felt Natsu’s hand gently holding the back of her head, securing her tightly within his arms.
“We’ll get to the bottom of this.” Natsu says while pulling away from her to place his forehead on top of hers. “We always do, as a team.”
Lucy can only nod her head, surprised that even if she can’t remember anything, she unconsciously trusts this pink haired man who proclaims to be her boyfriend.
Lucy nods her head, wiping the tears off her face. “Okay.”
“That’s my girl.” Natsu replies as he places his hand on top of her head, patting it as a form of comfort. This simple action made her laugh, lifting her spirits up in the process.

“Mirajane said that a curse might have latched on to her in our last mission.” Happy says when he got back from the guild. Natsu and Lucy were currently sitting on the field where the huge magnolia tree is situated. It’s the place where Natsu called Lucy to use Virgo in order to dig something up.
Natsu also states that Lucy once told him that she thought that it was him asking her out on a date, only to realize that it wasn’t the case at all.
Just listening to his story about that certain time made Lucy blush so hard from embarrassment, even if she still can’t recall that memory.
“Here, master gave me an antidote to undo the curse.” Happy continues while giving Natsu a certain vial that contains a purple liquid that kind of screams poison instead of antidote. “But the process of drinking it is weird, Natsu.”
“Weird?” Natsu questions his partner, tilting his head in the process. “How weird?”
He leans his head towards Happy who beckons him to come closer. After whispering only a few words, Natsu blushed.
“What is it?” Lucy asks them after seeing how Natsu suddenly became embarrassed. “Is it bad?”
“No! no, just,” Natsu fumbled on his words, slightly pulling his scarf. “Just weird, is all.”
Lucy sighed. “Well, if we want to regain my memories, no matter how weird it is, we should still try it, yeah?”
“Yeah! Yeah, just, give me a moment.” Natsu’s face reddened as he grabs the vial from Happy’s hand. He stood up and walked a few meters away, suspiciously pacing back and forth.
Lucy couldn’t take it anymore and decided to ask Happy about it.
However, just when the blue cat decided to open his mouth to explain how the process will go, Natsu walked up to them with a determined expression.
As he towers over the young female celestial wizard, Natsu opened the vial and began to drink the purple liquid. Lucy stood up just when Natsu finished drinking it all and was about to ask him what he was doing, when suddenly, she finds herself being pulled near the young man.
Her eyes widened from surprise upon realizing that he pulled her to connect their lips together. The warmth she felt was something she couldn’t describe, but even so, she didn’t feel the need to pull away as he began to transfer the liquid along with his magic, injecting his memories of them being together inside her head.
A sudden wave of emotions instantly flooded her mind and Lucy couldn’t stop herself from tearing up after witnessing all their adventures in that split of a second. Happiness, sadness, bravery, and being helpless, she once again witnessed it all. But on top of all those memories is a man who never gave up and pulled her in every step of their wonderful journey.
Natsu Dragneel, son of Igneel and a loyal member of the wizard guild, Fairy Tail.
“Lucy?” Natsu whispers after pulling away, wiping the tears that has escaped from her eyes. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” Lucy mumbled back, snuggling on Natsu’s hand. “It’s beautiful.”
“What is?”
Lucy smiles. “Memories of us.”
And with that, Natsu gave her his biggest smile of the day, one that has inspired and motivated Lucy to continue their journey in this wonderful world. “Glad to have you back, Luce.”
