Natsu has just come back from a two week job with Wendy, Happy, and Carla; and he can't sleep.
Lucy has been home waiting for her best friend and partner to return from his job and her power just went out.
Lucky for them both they are the solutions to each other's problems.

Natsu's daughter, Nashi, gets herself into trouble by attracting bandits to a forest near her house to test her father's response time, something neither of her parents were happy with.

Summary
It was just one job.
A job that wizards Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia thought was simply too good to be true. A job that wasn't far away, could easily pay for Lucy’s rent and Natsu’s stomach for the next 4 months and that would, or should, have taken no more than a couple of days. If only the stars had looked out for them.
The moment they boarded the train to leave Magnolia, they set themselves up for lies, deceit and pain- causing emotions to collide and feelings to sway. With danger lurking around every corner and never knowing who to trust, will Natsu and Lucy be able to protect each other? Will their long-lasting feelings of friendship turn into something more? Or will they shatter under the pressure?

He couldn’t remember how he got here. Try and try as he might, anything leading up to the Room was blurry, like trying to grasp at watercolor paints of memories. He did not have memory. He did not have a name. There was nothing.
There was only the Room.There was a pink mark on Her hand that made his right shoulder burn, but he couldn’t explain why. Her blonde hair was cut short, and he had no memory, but he knew that was wrong.
He tried to shout for Her, a name that he couldn’t remember but a name he tried to say anyways.
“Natsu.” She said the name like it was his, and it felt right.In which Natsu has no memory, but he does have Her. Originally written for Whumptober but is a standalone fic.

Summary
If you had asked Lucy what she would be doing this Saturday, she probably would have said shopping or hosting one of her guildmates when they broke in to her apartment. She would have said she was relaxing and recuperating after a hard job catching an escaped convict spotted in the woods near Magnolia.
Instead, she ended up scrubbing off scorch marks from her floor, picking soot out of her hair, and stitching claw marks on her couch back together.
Oh, and there was the tiny dragonslayer she had to babysit. That hadn't been on the agenda, either.
Then again, when does anything in Fairy Tail go to plan?
