Gun Show

Summary:

Jaeyoon's guns are too big. Juho can't handle it.

Extra scene for 'You can't see the stars from Nambu prison' because I can't quit this universe

Work Text:

Juho sat impatiently drumming his fingers on the arms of his chair. If he’d known Jaeyoon would take this long to make a decision on every single little thing... who was he kidding? Of course, he’d still go along with it.

“Do you need help in there?” he finally called out.

“You’re not supposed to see yet!”

“I thought that only applied to wedding dresses. I’ve seen you in a suit before.”

“Fine,” Jaeyoon conceded with a sigh. He pushed the door open to let his fiancé through. “This damn tailor, didn’t leave room for my guns.”

Juho’s eyes widened at the sight in front of him: Jaeyoon frowning at himself in the full-length mirror, tugging at his clothes, while the bed behind him was littered with handguns.

“Uh, I thought you decided only to bring three.”

“Went shopping in Italy.”

“When?”

“You were in the shower, and I was bored.”

“Hmm,” Juho cleared a space on the bed and sat down to watch. Jaeyoon might not appreciate the tailor’s work, but he sure did. “Do you really need to bring a gun to our wedding? Are you really expecting that much trouble? Surely Hwi can handle the security.”

Jaeyoon looked at him through the mirror with a raised eyebrow. “And I’m supposed to believe you weren’t planning on carrying any knives? You’re just saying that because you hate my guns.”

“I don’t... hate your guns,” Juho stumbled over the lie. He moved to stand behind Jaeyoon, wrapping his arms around his waist and resting his chin on his shoulder.

The suit really was beautiful, the light-colored fabric soft as the skin of a newborn baby. Juho eased the buttons of the jacket open and eyed Jaeyoon’s reflection critically. “So, how many guns are you trying to fit on your body?”

“Five,” Jaeyoon’s cheeks colored as Juho started removing his holsters.

“You know you only have two hands, right?”

“I didn’t want to have to reload.”

Juho resisted the urge to facepalm and went to rummage through the closet. He quickly found what he was looking for and returned. He held the black silk shirt up to the mirror.

“Just wear this one, so that your holsters blend in.”

“It won’t look weird with the white coat?”

“Less weird than everyone being able to see your guns.”

Jaeyoon turned kissed Juho’s nose, “Thanks, babe. You wanna help me pick out confetti now?”

Juho blanched.
