When JJProject debuted, it was theorized that they would be able to make it gold themselves, but when the album didn’t meet the expectations, they were disbanded and joined with five more trainees in order to debut in a group of seven, appropriately titled GET7 (later changed to GOT7 after they decided the name was bad).

It was during that trial they also realized something; the Associate Judge sitting to Judge Kang’s left, Kim Gaon, looked remarkably similar to Jinyoung. There were a few main differences of course; Kim Gaon was a bit less muscular, his hair a bit longer, and the shape of his eyes was noticeably different, but the resemblance was there.

Summary
Troy Barrett is traded to the Ottawa Centaurs after bringing up the assault allegations against Dallas Kent and attacking the star-centre at practice. After years of being treated poorly by the Toronto Guardians, he struggles to adapt to the Centaurs' more accepting nature. Over the course of his first year with the Centaurs, he faces repercussions for speaking out against Dallas, deals with threats from the league, navigates a whole new team that is primed to hate him, and faces several media scandals.
This is pre Troy/Harris, and Shane/Ilya is not mentioned, but I picture it being in the background.
