Notes:
This fic lives in my head rent free. The author is a professional playwright, so the dialogue is just incredible. Severus as Harry’s father, a murder happy pet snake, a hilarious murder happy Kretcher, half Turkish Harry and Severus, and a beautiful exploration of trauma. It’s everything OoTP should’ve been. Harry takes his heirships, which come with magical rings. Each has a personality of sorts and Harry learns to control the magic.
I frequently have to take a minute after a chapter and just sit with it. The exploitation of trauma is just so well done. It also says some fantastic things about relationships and what makes a family. It helps that the author is a cinnamon roll and all-around really cool person.
I’ve been working on more full illustrations and backgrounds. I’m also a little obsessed with jeans and knits, so everyone gets a sweater now, even in the summer.
