“She booked me for a photoshoot tomorrow.”
Oh-aew looked at his lover in confusion. That information is indeed a bit alarming, because Teh is known for being quite workaholic. Even on his day off, he would be fidgeting in his seat finding something productive to do. He’d review a script for next month’s shooting, or go to the nearby theater to watch a play. Though it’s true that Teh has learned to lighten up these days, especially when it’s Oh-aew asking him to do so, it’s still unusual for him to not be happy about new work prospects.
“And why is that a problem?” Oh-aew wonders.
He felt Teh stiffen for a moment before leaning his head backwards into his thigh and meeting gazes with him. In his orbs are subtle hints of disbelief mixed with disappointment, like he had expected him to know the answer to that question.
It takes Oh-aew a good moment to recall what tomorrow was, and he lets out a long exhale as he begins to piece everything together.
