Unknown Sire

Summary:

"Deku, calm down!" Katsuki spoke, but that seemed to be the wrong move, seeing Izuku roared louder, tail thrashing. "LEAVE NOW! YOU WILL NOT TOUCH MY PUP!" Izuku roared, allowing his pup to run into the cottage, locking the doors.

"Hah?! We don't want your pup!" Katsuki spat, tightening his hands on the leather reins in his hands. Izuku seemed genuinely confused, tilting his head slightly. "You did not come for the pup you sired, Katsuki?"

"THE WHAT I WHAT?"

Work Text:

Izuku knew Katsuki was destined to another. He knew the blond was supposed to get married to a redhead at eighteen; the black and gold band on his hand glared at Izuku whenever Katsuki came over. The blond didn't seem to care, kissing Izuku softly with such care it made the little Omega melt.

Katsuki's touches were always so soft, files with love and care. When they made love, it was nothing but sweet ecstasy and soft words. They were in love. So when Katsuki up and left one day, never returning, leaving Izuku alone, Izuku felt hollow.

He felt awful. How could he? With all of the love confessions, Katsuki whispered Izuku thought he'd stay. But no. Izuku became slightly bitter, hearing the wedding bells in the distance a month later. It's also when the fatigue and sickness started. Throwing up in the morning, cramps, the whole shebang. Izuku realized...

He was pregnant.

Izuku had cast a spell to test, and it came back positive. Izuku was crushed. He cried for hours, his inner Omega howling for Katsuki,

/Alpha gone! Alpha gone! Were we not good enough?!/ It howled in anguish, and Izuku agreed. Izuku knew, sadly, that Katsuki couldn't go against an arranged marriage, but he wished he'd try.

Deciding to leave, Izuku packed up his house and left, a month into an unplanned, grueling pregnancy. Izuku didn't tell Katsuki out of fear the blond would make him get rid of it.

Izuku would refuse to; he would gladly die before anyone would pull his unborn babe away from him. Izuku had found an abandoned cottage in the woods, far, far away from Katsuki. Within a week, the cottage was fixed up, and Izuku felt at home.

-

Eight months later, Izuku gave birth to Kota Midoriya, a squealing baby boy, eyes the same shade as Izuku's. Izuku had sobbed, holding the squealing, writhing babe. This was happening; he was a mother.

After cleaning Kota and nursing him, Izuku thought it would be okay. He didn't care about Katsuki anymore. If Katsuki wanted to find him and rip his pup away, he'd have to go through Izuku.

-

Katsuki and his warriors were trotting through large, full woods when the sounds of squeals echoed. Reaching for their swords, Katsuki positioned his horse in front of the red-headed Omega, his ugh... wife.

Carefully urging the horses on, they strayed off the path, the squeals becoming louder as they peeked into a clearing, a large, ivy-covered cottage sitting in the middle, flourishing gardens circling the house, a large yard with a pip and a dam running around it.

Katsuki's eyes widened, nearly dropping his sword as he looked at Izuku running around the clearing, chasing a pup with flaxen blond hair, slightly spiked, with green eyes and freckles. Someone must have gasped because Izuku's attention snapped to them.

Pupils blown wide turned into pinpricks quickly, the rancid scent of danger wafting off of Izuku, who urged the pup behind him, who clung to his dam, eyes wide in fear. "Katsuki, what's wrong?" A voice spoke as another horse pulled out from behind Katsuki, revealing Kirishima, Katsuki's mate.

The blond inwardly cringed at the redhead using his given name, but he didn't say anything. The second the redhead came into view, something seemed to snap in Izuku, and the skies darkened. The horses reared and cried out, throwing their heads back as lightning cracked above.

Izuku's body was shrouded in a green glow before a bright, blinding light exploded, making them all look away for a moment, shielding their eyes.

Once they blinked away the bright spots in their vision, they came face to face with a twelve-foot drake, scales onyx and forest green, claws, and teeth a tar-black, with eyes glowing rage. His horns were slightly curved, ribbed with gold. Izuku was nowhere to be seen, and everyone came to a reasonable conclusion.

Izuku is the dragon.

With a mighty, earth-shaking roar, Izuku whipped his tail, claws digging into the ground as his pup cowered behind his dam, tears sparkling in his eyes. "LEAVE NOW!" Izuku bellowed, hissing as Katsuki tried to urge his horse closer.

Katsuki shouts, jaw wide in shock. Everyone else gapes at the large dragon in front of them that has the gall to look slightly ashamed. Kirishima, on the other hand, was fuming. Gripping his reins tight, eyes downcast, a shadow over his eyes from where his red hair falls over it.

Katsuki sputters, looking at the man he never stopped loving, dragon eyes glowing in the afternoon sun onyx and forest green scales glittering with the way the sun moves off of them as Izuku sits, looking away slightly. "I would have thought you knew with how highly you talk of your instincts..."

Izuku mutters, side-eyeing Katsuki, whose face goes bright pink. Although...it does explain the small hole in his heart Katsuki has felt since that day five years ago. "Oi! Why the fuck didn't you tell me?!" Katsuki spits, angry. It seemed to be the wrong thing to say because Izuku bristles, lips curling back in a snarl as he glares at the redhead behind Katsuki. "Because I was afraid you'd have me get rid of it; after all, I wasn't a possible bride for you. You may have sired the pup, but Kota is mine,"

Izuku growls, standing up, placing a firm barrier in between the large cottage and the group of knights. Katsuki blanches, eyes wide in horror. His Alpha roars inside of him, banging on his cranium till he winces at the brewing headache. Kirishima moves his horse next to his before Katsuki can even speak, glaring at the blond. "So this is the bitch you knocked up?! He's a commoner, and I'm a prince! Is that why you wouldn't touch me?!"

Kirishima shrieks in anger, the rotten scent of enraged Omega rolling off of him, making Katsuki's wrinkle, the scent of the Omega he was forced to marry always made him queasy. "Hah!? He's not a fucking bitch! I was forced to marry you because you threw a hissy fit when I told you I was with someone!"

Katsuki roared, eyes glowing with fury, palms crackling. It was true, when the Kingdom of stone and iron had sent a marriage proposal for their Omega Son, Kirishima, to wed Katsuki, it was rejected.

Mitsuki, his sire, had written Katsuki was already taken and was in love with another. The redhead had thrown a hissy fit after stalking and figuring out he was in love with a commoner. The Kingdom of stone and Iron, Stonehelm, has threatened to wage war if they two didn't get married.

Katsuki wished his sire had fought harder, but he knew the first person they'd try to kill was Izuku. He'd rather be in a loveless marriage than have Izuku killed.

Kirishima sputtered, face flaming a bright red. "I-!" "You what? You had spies stalk me to figure out who I was in love with?" Katsuki hissed, looking at Izuku, who stood there, large dragon teeth gritted, claws digging into the forest floor. "How...HOW DARE YOU?!" Izuku roared, eyes glowing with fury, staring at Kirishima, who screeched in surprise as he was suddenly picked up, tail curled around his midsection.

Kirishima wriggled and beat at Izuku's tail, which only curled tighter around him, bones creaking. Izuku growled at the Omega, plumes of rich, dominant scent pumping out of Izuku's large scent glands. Before Izuku can do anything, the door to the cottage opens, and little Kota carefully walks out. "Mama?"

The boy asks quietly, making his dam drop Kirishima with a loud thud, turning towards the cottage, body twisting and shifting back to his small, 5'3, human form. "What's up?" Izuku asks softly, crouching down in front of his pup, chubby cheeks puffed. "I'm hungry...mama,"

Kota whispers, and Izuku smiles softly, picking up his little pup, carrying him in his arms, glaring at the group of guards. Izuku and Katsuki make eye contact, and Izuku smiles softly, making a 'come' motion with his face as he walks up the brick stairs, hearing the blond basically catapult himself out of the saddle, footfalls loud in his attentive ears.

He can hear Katsuk's horse, Aros, nickers softly, walking forward, grazing around the house. "LEAVE US!" Katsuki commands the rally of guards, glaring at Kirishima, who whimpers in pain. "And send him back to his fucking Kingdom... The only thing that ties us in a shitty marriage certificate,"

Katsuki growls, walking up the same brick steps, hearing the sound of horses galloping off and Kirishima's weak, pitiful shouts of war. He doesn't mind it, though, pushing the door of the cottage close, smacked with Izuku's soft, warm scent.

-

Katsuki returns to the castle three weeks later, Izuku behind him, walking in his large dragon form, careful to where his tail waves and his feet are placed. Kota is giggling atop his mother's back, feeling cool scales shift and breathe with the excitement of their pup.

Within the three weeks, Katsuki spent away from the Kingdom; it was spent sapping every bit of negative thoughts out of Izuku, making love to his body in the late hours of the night, and properly setting a bond mark on the greenette's soft neck.

He bares his actual mate's mark as well, seeing the second Katsuki released Izuku's neck, the vixen had chomped down once he was within range. Izuku tight, heated core had welcomed him back easily, nearly tearing his damn cock off when he pulled out.

Kirishima and Stonehelm were shunned after news got out, none of the nearing Kingdom's wanting to do business save for the Kingdom of acid and dark, where the Alpha Princess, Mina Ashido, had sent a marriage proposal.

Stonehelm couldn't disagree, and Kirishima was quickly sent to be wed to the pink-haired Alpha. Mitsuki had to catch Masaru when he had fainted, realizing they were grandparents to the cutest damn child in existence. Kota had quickly stuck to his sire, no longer feeling like something was missing.

Katsuki finally found the missing pieces to his heart.

He'd never let them go again.
