   Summary

   It's the First Age, and Oropher is a young elf living in Doriath. While hunting deer, he meets Ereinion, a strange elf of the Noldor exiles. Ereinion strikes up a conversation, and from this the rest of Oropher's life is shaped; An account of Oropher's life, how he left Doriath, brought his family to Greenwood the Great, became King of the Woodland Elves, and eventually died in the Battle of Dagorlad.
