It's Eiji's fault, really. He let his mind wander as he soaked in the warmth of everything. He loves when Ash lets him stay by his side, close to him, and they don't even need to talk to understand each other. The unspoken but mutual feelings are enough to make his heart flutter. All he could think of was how nice it felt to be with Ash knowing everything, at least for now, was alright.
