Through the thick clouds inside his mind, a familiar voice had broken through, and he dragged his focus away from the ocean, instead looking towards the man who had spoken. Stood within a pool of artificial light was Leone, who hadn’t left Jotaro's side since the first time he’d met him. Hands in his pockets, lipstick even darker in the harsh lighting, and eyes piercing, Leone regarded Jotaro for a moment before stepping out of the light to join him in the shadows. He sat down in the space next to him, and for a long while, the only sound was the lapping of the waves against the rocks, as the two men looked out into the dark.
