Summary
There is no doubt that Newgate loves his children equally. It doesn't matter where they came from, or who their fathers were - they, in the end, are children of the sea.
But this story is about one particular child - his first daughter, who shared his adoration for the sea and its wonders. She fell for someone of the same make, who was leading a completely opposite life, and was supposedly dead.
