Work Text:
“I can cook, you know. I fended for myself before I met you.” Derek huffed at Stiles’ blatant skepticism, but the slight uplift in his voice gave away the fact he was teasing, as well as the fact that he gave him a small smile.
“And I saw your fridge the first time I stayed over. I swear the milk could have opened the door and let itself out.”
Stiles squealed as he growled, pouncing on him, tickling her cheek with his nose as he burrowed against his neck.
“Take that back! It was only a few days past due.”
Stiles giggled, letting him nose his way across his neck. When he pulled away, to make sure nothing was burning, he let a hand rest against his neck. He sighed in happiness, leaning into the touch.
“It is too early in the morning for so much mushiness,” Isaac said, yawning as he emerged from the bedroom.
“Well, I had to think of one way to get all of you up. You guys slept through the alarm and Stiles’ abstinent assessment that he didn’t need to shower and put on some real clothes,” Derek said, noting the fact that the whole pack was piling out of the room. Once he got breakfast on the table, Erica came in and made herself at home between Isaac and Boyd.
Derek walked over and sat down, pulling Stiles into his lap. He smiled and offered him some of his bacon, which made him smile. This was home, his pack, and he could get used to more mornings like this. Shadow made himself know, whining and pawing at Derek’s leg until he picked him up.
“Spoiled little puppy,” He said, letting Shadow rub his nose under his chin.
“All the puppies are spoiled,” Stiles whispered, even though all the wolves in the room could hear him.

Stiles and Shadow were meant to be spending the night at his father’s house. They had been talking about it all week. However, he had curled up with Derek while he waited for his dad to text him that he was done at work. When that text came, Shadow was sleeping across both of their necks and Derek wouldn’t let go.
"Der?"
"Hm?"
"I need to go. It's late."
"..."
"Derek?"
"No."
"Derek, seriously, I have to go."
"No. I haven't been with you all day because of pack stuff, so just stay. You can stay with your dad tomorrow."
"Derek, I'm serious, I need to go. It's late and I promised my dad that I would stay with him tonight."
"Don’t care. Now shut up and sleep."
"Fine, but if I get in trouble, I'm taking your ass down with me."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Now sleep."
Stiles grumbled and snuggled back down against his mate. After a few moments, he looked back up at him.
“And you have to tell my dad that the reason I couldn’t come over was that the Sourwolf is a giant cuddle monster.”
Derek opened his eyes to glare at his mate, only to be met with a glare from Stiles.
“Fine, I’ll tell him. Can you please go to sleep now?”

John, Melissa, Derek, Peter, and Chris all sat together at the graduation ceremony. As the months had passed, and the supernatural occurrences were taken care of before they became a problem for the town, the humans and the pack had become even closer. The pack had accepted several new members, Kira and a young Beta named Liam, along with a few of Liam's friends. Stiles had taken to all the Betas, regardless of what pack they belonged to, and accepted them, leaving Derek no choice but to grow to love them.
“Boyd, Vernon.”
“Lahey, Issac.”
“Martin, Lydia.”
“McCall, Scott.”
“Reyes, Erica.”
“Stilinski, Mic...Mieczy...Stiles!”
Everyone chuckled as Stiles stumbled across the stage, a bright smile on his face. John shook his head and smiled, glad his son was graduating and wasn’t dead.
“Whittemore, Jackson.”
“Yukimura, Kira.”
After the graduation ceremony was over, the adults of the group made their way down to the graduates. Stiles was immediately pounced on by Issac and Erica, making him smile as he hugged them both.
“Well, we did it, we actually survived high school,” Scott said, pulling Kira against him.
Stiles hummed, smiling over at his mate.
