Work Text:
The monsters have been on the Surface long ago. And Frisk played an important role in this. What about her now? You cannot envy her condition... After the girl was over twenty, Sans sometimes began to invite Frisk with him to Grilby's bar. And due to the fact that the brunette was an extremely decisive person, she acted large and in a big way. To be more specific, I ordered alcohol and more than one glass... So now the girl was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and was going to go home. I just doubted that she would succeed. Therefore, she turned to another determined person with a request to take her body home. But apparently Frisk caught herself too late, since she did not think that she and Chara were sharing precisely that one body and a change of manager would not help here. But it was too late. Chara took control (or rather its remnants).
- Damn, the hell should I have swallowed so?.. - She groaned, grabbing the bartender's counter, when she abruptly stood up.
- Chara? - Called the voice of the girl.
- What do you need? - She looked at the speaker. Well, of course, who else could this pacifist get drunk with, except with this skeleton!..
- So, Chara... - Summed up the nonexistent results of Sans.
- Is there something you don't like? Tell me why you dragged her to the bar? - It turned out to be not very intelligible to speak. But the girl was determined to express all her dissatisfaction with the current situation.
When Chara asked, the owner of the empty head just shrugged.
- Exactly, you don't know yourself! And now I still somehow have to get home... This fool loves to drink... - the girl grumbled.
- I can help. - Offered a skeleton.
She just glanced at him suspiciously. But after about ten minutes and one more (unsuccessful) attempt to get up, she nodded almost imperceptibly. After that, Sans took Chara by the shoulder and ruthlessly (in relation to the human body) teleported to Frisk's house. Somehow restraining the gagging urge, the alcohol victim screamed:
- What the fuck?! I could have warned at least! I almost vomited on the spot, you moron!
- You asked for help, I provided it. - The skeleton shrugged. - Okay, I'm going. Happen.
Sans was about to teleport once more, but he was stopped by a quiet:
- Stop.
- I'm sorry, kiddo, but I do not intend to listen to your angry speeches. May I go? - He looked inquiringly at the girl.
- No. - She squeezed out of herself after a minute. And she asked a question that had been of interest to her for a long time. - Why don't you... hate her or me?
- What are you talking about?
The skeleton, oh, how I did not want to talk about it now, but only he is alone.
- You remember everything, you moron. And how we killed everyone a couple of times, including. Why?
- Now Frisk has chosen not to kill anyone. Mercy. This is enough. Just don’t think that I’m not mad at you at all. I am extremely offended by you. One has only to remember how many times the two of you counted my bones...
- Is that all?
Something doesn't seem to be true. At least that's what Chara thought. But...
- Dap. - The skeleton nodded graciously. - As long as you don't touch Papyrus and everyone else, I am quite capable of tolerating your existence and even having fun in your company.
- But-
- I think you'd better go into the house after all. The old lady must be worried. Hour of the night after all. - Sans advised.
Chara muttered something. According to the skeleton, something obscene. But after standing still for a minute and receiving no objection, he nevertheless teleported home. To my brother. And Chara... Well, she didn't even try to open the door herself. She couldn't handle the keys. This brown-haired woman knew for sure. And so for three minutes she mercilessly tried to hit the doorbell. When she succeeded, she did not have to wait long, the door was opened for her. And on the threshold the girl was met by a distressed Toriel.
- Child, where have you been? Are you all right? - She asked, noticing Chara's condition.
- Oh, hello, goat! How are y-you? - Noticing the former queen, the girl asked.
Frisk's body, frankly, rocked. And Chara still wondered how her legs were holding?.. Oops, a mistake. They don't hold it anymore. The girl settled down exactly on the rug in the hallway.
- Child! - Toriel immediately exclaimed.
- Everything is good. Don't be overwhelmed. - Chara tried to get up. But apparently not this time.
- Let me help you. - The former Keeper of the Ruins picked it up. Even twelve years later, Frisk could not outgrow this monster. - What happened to you, honey?
But the questions of the monster immediately disappeared as soon as she felt the already familiar smell. Earlier, after all, was it mentioned about the new addiction of the brown-haired woman? Yes? Then it should be added that she went to Grilby even without her bone friend.
- Oh, this joker. - Toriel growled softly. It seems that one particular skeleton is waiting for a serious conversation.
