It was really early in the morning, around 3am, for Wilbur. He was scrolling through Reddit on his phone, like usual. He glanced at some posts from r/DeepIntoYouTube and r/MoldlyInteresting, having nothing really catch his eye. He decided that he would just go to r/WeirdSubreddits and find something interesting there.
It was just starting to become night for Schlatt, as it was 9pm. He had just made himself Mac n Cheese after a long day at the studio. He opened Spotify to some chill tunes and went to a familiar subreddit, r/WeirdSubreddits.
They both found the same post around the same time, some post about a subreddit named r/Memeopia. “What the fuck?” Schlatt said, scrolling through some of the subreddit. “This looks interesting” Wilbur said, reading a recap of supposed lore that happened.
Schlatt decided to go back to looking at random subreddits, but Wilbur wanted to make a video on it. Just around 4 hours later, a sleep deprived Wilbur had just finished making a video about r/Memeopia.
Schlatt was just about to head to sleep, before he saw a notification for a SootHouse upload. “This subreddit has lore?” Schlatt read the title aloud. “That kind of reminds me the one I found” Schlatt thought, clicking on the video.
Schlatt sat back as the end card played. “So it was” he said to himself. He decided to type a comment about how he’d found the subreddit too, before going to bed.
Wilbur waited a bit after posting the video. Mainly just scrolling through r/DeepIntoYouTube and watching the videos there. After long enough, he decided to refresh the page and scroll through the comments. He saw one who had found the same subreddit. He hearted the comment and replied to it; “Yo that’s cool. Mind giving me your Reddit so we could maybe plan lore together :)?”
Schlatt heard a buzz on his phone, so he rolled over to check the notif. He saw that Wilbur had replied to his comment, so he replied with “jschlattAlt”.
Wilbur refreshed soon after that happened, seeing Schlatt had replied. Wilbur went to him, and Dm’d him. “Ayup, this the right user?” Schlatt had heard the buzz of the notif again, but this time he was waiting for it. “Ayup, yes it is” Schlatt had replied. He chuckled to himself. “Fuckin Redditors…” he mumbled.
