Chapter Text
April 4th, 2020. It was a rainy and cloudy day one late morning near an official government facility. It was quiet, except for the noises of rain droplets of course. The rain made the ground muddy and gave a sense of fog, something most agents and soldiers would not want to hang around at.
Except for one person, a pilot. Was walking a muddy trail with an umbrella, his usual morning routine. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary for him, he was calm, peaceful, and very happy.
He wore a green government jacket, with patches on the front of the jacket and the sides of the arms. Along with a grey t-shirt, black pants, and red and white shoes. But because it was raining, he was wearing boots so he didn’t ruin his shoes. Not to mention his iconic red and dark grey headphones he always wears. Does he take it off to sleep or shower? We may not know the answer.
But one thing we will know is who he is, his name is Charles Calvin. One of the government’s best and well known pilots, at an incredible age of only his early-20’s. He had a passion for helicopters at such a young age, and has a tendency to crash them during missions. However he manages to stay in one piece and untouched after each attempt.
He would stop near a river, just watching the rain hit the water. He had a bit of a wholesome smirk on his face, like it was a primal instinct.
Charles sighed. “Another lovely morning.” He smiled, peering over the river as it continued to rain.
He put his off-hand in his jacket pocket, just listening to the sounds of nature like it was his favorite thing to do, other than flying helicopters of course.
All of that was cast to the side when something caught his eye. It looked like a person, or so he thought while squinting his eyes. Charles then moved along towards the figure at a quick pace to get a better idea of what he saw. As he got closer he became more and more curious.
It was a person, with red hair, dirty/bloodied clothing and who was shivering.
“Hello?” Charles called out, but the person disappeared into the treeline. So he would follow the person’s footsteps through the muddy ground. As he was approaching a dead end, the person ran out from a tree in front of him. He had nowhere to go.
Charles was speechless. “Y- you’re just a kid..”
