Derek doesn’t come home for three days, and Stiles thinks he’s gonna die. He can feel his own body just giving up at the thought Derek left him. Strangely, Theo and Liam are with him the whole time: having known abuse like no one else, Theo is very helpful trying to make as many hypothesis as they can about what could have happened to Derek, and Stiles finds so much comfort in the moments when Liam quietly curls himself against the side of his body, while watching tv. He then usually meets eyes with Theo, and they just smile at each other. But Stiles can’t help but being worried sick, and sad, and his whole body aches from missing Derek so much that he almost can’t stand it.
It goes on like this for a week and a half, Scott searching Derek everywhere, Liam and Theo just moving in with Stiles and being there for him, Stiles living in a strange limbo filled with morning sickness, worry, enjoying being cared for by the two puppies of the pack, all three of them cuddling in a bed too big for himself alone, and excruciating wait.Series
