Speedrun time

Summary:

When Phil offers to arrange a small race, our Enderboy thought that nothing so terrible would happen. But alas, Blade's instincts and voices didn't give a damn about it.

Work Text:

"Phil, damn you!

The hybrid ran through the snow-covered forest, knowing that very soon Blade would follow him. With every step, with every jerk, he was getting further and further away from the cottage.
When the house finally disappeared from sight, and the trees began to flash more often, Ranboo finally slowed down. But he knew that a pair of red eyes were already watching him.

Now, noticing a red robe behind one tree, Ranboo ran again, hearing heavy footsteps behind him. This drove him on, so he took out one pearl and threw it as far as possible. The hybrid shuddered, feeling a hand on his shoulder, which sharply pulled him back, after which he fell into the snow. Blade loomed over him with a smug grin.

"You couldn't even get far enough away from me," the voice sounded with the same monotony, but there was a sense of danger coming from Blade himself.

Ranboo just grinned, then disappeared, transported by the pearls that finally landed.

Enderman was breathing heavily, and his hands were shaking a little. He was almost caught, almost. He didn't even know what Techno could do to him, even though Phil had warned him. But about what?...
Ranboo quickly pulled out a notebook, opening it to a page with a bookmark.
“Your task is to escape from Techno. This is something similar to the Manhattan(?) Dream, but more dangerous. In the concept of Techno, this is a hunt where you can suffer”
Nothing important. So the information from Philza was useless. Therefore, putting away the notebook, Ranboo continued to run.

He stopped, but very rarely, when his lungs were very sore. It seemed to him that Blade's red mania was flashing everywhere, which is why the boy tried not to stop. After all, you never know what this anarchist could have done.

Ranboo was able to catch his breath only when he got to the end of the winter biome. Ahead was a forest, a river and glades strewn with flowers. This is a great place for bees...and for Tubbo.

"It's a great place," the hybrid stammered to himself, taking out a map and marking this clearing with an x on it, " Tubbo will like this place.

He looked around the clearing once more, and then stepped forward. But he immediately froze, listening.
Not a sound.
Not a sound.
Even it seems that the water has stopped making at least some noise. Something was obviously wrong.

A jerk.

He was forcefully pinned to the ground, grabbing his hands. And Ranboo knew exactly what he was going to get.

"I was able to catch you," Techno's voice sounded a note higher than before, as if he was really happy, " I fucking caught you."

-Y — yes, you're good, - the hybrid shuddered slightly — - But can you let go of my hands?

"I'll let go," Ranboo jerked his hand, but the grip only tightened — " But what is my reward?"

- A reward? - now Ranboo felt a growing panic — - T-totems? Emeralds? Gold—

But he was gagged by someone else's lips, because of which Ranboo immediately tried to escape.
He was immediately released, allowing him to push the Techno away.
The hybrid was blushing, looking at Blade, who looked away. The blood god was really nervous, or was it just that he was thinking.

- This, Ranboo, I'm sorry, I just got carried away — - Techno spoke quietly, trying not to scare the boy — - Well...you know, courtship and all that shit....

The hybrid chuckled softly. His nerves were already playing tricks, and his hands were already reaching out of habit to straighten his tie.
But alas, there was no tie around his neck, in fact, as well as a jacket. Perhaps he had lost them, which was more likely.

—I understand you... - the hybrid replied — - Did you see my tie and jacket on the way?

"Oh, yes, I saw," Blade seems to be more animated now than a minute ago, " You took them off when you were running away...

Oh, right. Now Ranboo remembered. He was sweating profusely, so he took off his tie and jacket. How his exhausted brain left the shirt on his body is still unknown.

— Okay, then let's go get my things, - the hybrid finally got up from the ground, after which Techno rose after him, causing a wave of goosebumps, — And please, Techno, go so that I can see you... And preferably heard it...

Blade nodded, and most of the way he tried to keep up and talk about anything, as long as Ranboo could definitely hear him.

But literally halfway to the abandoned things, Enderman began to shiver from the cold, which is why the soft and warm fabric of the robe is light on his shoulders. Ranbu certainly looked at Techno, but it seems he didn't care.

"Are you sure you're not cold?"

—I've been to places where even this raincoat won't keep out the cold. So I'm fine.

When they got their things and got home, Phil gave Blade a complete dressing down. As it turned out, Piglin could have just died of hypothermia, but he pretended that he didn't care at all.

"Phil, I really wasn't cold —" Techno began, but Philza interrupted him, opening his burnt wings in some places.

—You may not feel the cold, but your body does not tolerate it. You could have just died and lost your life, you fool — it's better for you not to know Philza in anger.

After receiving a couple of lessons from Phil on how not to act, Ranboo headed to his house, returning the mantle to Blade.
As soon as he crossed the threshold and was about to go to his house, he saw him at the bottom. Dream stood silently and looked first somewhere to the side, and then turned his gaze to Ranboo himself, causing goosebumps. Clay lifted him up, forcing the Enderman hybrid to retreat, but the prisoner just stared silently into the distance.

—I'm here to give you a little push. While I don't need to bother you, " Dream's voice echoed.

Blade left almost immediately, glancing awkwardly at Ranboo. But then he came to the side, almost standing next to Dream, which made Dream himself chuckle softly.

"I'm ashamed of what happened," Piglin said quietly, after which he looked around the snow-white field, — And if you need something, just come in and take it.

Blade let go of the railing, which he began to squeeze, and then headed back into the house.

If it wasn't for the Dream mask, then you would definitely have noticed this impudent grin.

—I'll just push and no more...

Ranboo grabbed Techno's arm. Piglin was about to turn around, with a complete bewilderment on his face.
Enderman abruptly pulled him towards himself, leaving a light kiss on the lips of the god, and after grinning, he went to his room, leaving Techno in complete incomprehension and embarrassment.

Dream whispers to the Technoblade: I told you that I would just push ;)
