She'd spun tales of people who could fly with wings on their backs, who could swim the lengths of oceans with fins and gills, who could run impossible distances and lift entire buildings with the strength and speed the goddess had gifted them with, who were more animal than human, but instead of being considered a curse, it was a great blessing instead.
Eren had chalked them down as nothing more than legends with a grain of truth.
Over the years, he'd forgotten the stories, especially after he joined the Survey Corps and found a new fixation - Captain Levi. The longer his eyes tended to linger on the man, the more he realized that there might just be more to the captain than met the eye.
There was definitely something off about Levi, but old memories start sparking and weird occurrences start linking themselves together, leading to the revelation of a secret that Levi had successfully kept hidden for all of his life.
