As great as Mr. Aizawa is, he very much isn't the type of person you would think would be in a relationship… no offense.
Despite the handsome face Shota doesn't seem to make for boyfriend material. He sleeps a lot, is often unmotivated, and doesn't seem all that interested in things such as dates.
So finding out that he was married was a shock, an even bigger shock to class 1-A was finding out that he was married to you. [Hero Name], a.k.a Y/N. A hero steadily climbing the top ten ranks and one of their favorite teachers.
Sorry to say it but many people would think you were out of his league if they knew you were together. Hell, even he thinks that. But all the seemingly negative qualities of Aizawa you find endearing. How your relationship came about was very interesting. But that's a story for another day.
So… here's how the students found out the news of your marriage went.
Although you sometimes come to UA to teach the students about life as a hero as a special guest thing so they don’t get to see you all the often. That doesn’t stop you from being one of their favorite teachers. Now today you weren’t scheduled to come into school but you came to UA to come to visit Aizawa on his lunch break.
Aizawa was sat at his desk with you on his lap, running your fingers through his hair. Now, normally you would never do this outside of your shared home but with everything going on this was the only time you’ve gotten to see him in a while. You missed your husband, plus you wanted to annoy him a bit. He would never admit it but his cheeks had the slightest tint of pink.
You both had long finished your food now and were just sitting enjoying each other’s company, having a quiet conversation. Soon you’d have to leave though, as his lunch break would be ending in five minutes. As you stood up and packed up to leave, you turned around to kiss Aizawa and tell him you’d see him at home. Unfortunately, Denki, who was walking past the classroom on his way to the bathroom chose to peek in at the very moment and caught a glimpse of the kiss you two shared.
With something much more important on his mind than the bathroom he quickly rushed back to the cafeteria where his friends still were, very out of breath since he ran back. Catching up to his friends who he spotted by the door he quickly came to a halt, almost crashing in Kirishima. Before he managed out something along the lines of
“Aizawa… [Hero Name] … Kissing..” While very out of breath.
“Woah what? Denki what? Slow down, man!” Kirishima patted Denki’s back while everyone else looked at him confused.
“I saw… [Hero Name] and Aizawa Sensei kissing in his classroom.” He said slower this time and everyone was quiet for a moment before Mina was the first to speak up with an excited squeal.
“Aaaah really?! I called it! I knew they would be a cute couple.” Jumping up and down in her spot she immediately started asking for more details.
“Well we don’t know if they’re dating, it could have been a friendly kiss,” Kirishima said shyly, slightly uncomfortable with talking about his teacher’s love life.
“Oh, it was more than friendly all right.”
With all the commotion it caused more of the class to come over and the news spread around pretty quickly about what Denki saw, most people didn’t believe him. The class president had many objections to this kind of talk seeing as it really wasn't anyone’s business. Those who were excited about it really just tuned him out.
“Well let’s see if [Hero Name] is still there!” Mina excitedly ran off towards the classroom and the others followed, mostly because lunch was about to end and they had to get back anyway.
You had planned to leave before the students came but you ended up getting distracted… Luckily you were not still kissing your husband when they arrived or on his lap, instead, you were leaning against his desk talking about what he would like for dinner when he got home.
Your conversation quickly cut off as the students suddenly shuffled into the classroom. Where they were shocked to actually see you. Maybe Denki was telling the truth after all...
“[Hero Name] are you here to teach the class-” Iida started but Mina abruptly cut him off, getting straight to the point. “ARE YOU AND AIZAWA SENSEI DATING?”
The question caught you both off guard, slowly you turned to look at Aizawa before back at Mina. “What brought that question up?”
“Denki said he saw you two kissing-” She started and was interrupted by Denki. “HEY!” He was not thrilled about getting thrown under the bus especially after seeing the look Aizawa gave him when he heard what she said.
“Sooooo are youuu?” There was a giddiness in her voice, she was clearly very excited to know the answer. Seeing no way out of this, (well actually there were many ways out of this but you just wanted to mess with your husband) you confessed. “Well actually... We’re married.”
Now, this caught the whole class's attention and you could feel Aizawa stare burning holes at the back of your head.
“Wait…You’re Married?!” Multiple students asked in unison and you simply nodded with a sweet smile on your face. Turning towards your husband who you knew was probably less than happy with you you leaned down and kissed his cheek while running a hand through his hair.
“I’ve gotta go, I'll see you at home love.” To others, it seemed sweet but he knew you were just bailing and leaving him with the mess you made. Quickly you left the classroom with a smirk on your face as you held in a laugh while he was stuff with some very curious and nosy students.
