Mitsuki got to see her son grow and build himself up. He had made a name for himself and was doing incredible things. He was on the hero charts within a year and was making waves.
The thing was though, she never seemed to see Katsuki as actually happy. There was always pride in his eyes, but never happiness. Never contentedness or comfort.
Maybe that's why she unfortunately also witnessed him crash and burn a couple years later.
All Mitsuki ever wanted was a perfect family. Maybe she had pushed too far in her journey for that title of perfection.
