Chapter Text
April XX, XXXX
I really feel like my life’s been flipped upside-down. I mean, all I was trying to see was if I could get a couple of roommates to help balance out rental costs. You can only make so much as you hop back and forth between teaching kickboxing and running an up and coming Etsy business. All I received in response to my online roommate ads were shady men or spam from porn bots. Eugh. It felt like I was hopelessly casting out a fishing line into a pond full of trash for weeks, but I had to keep going. Costs in town weren’t going down anytime soon.
The ones who ended up living with me have never seen a lick of my advertisements, that’s for sure. What can I say though? At this point, they’re my boys. Two wildly different, borderline ridiculous boys! I couldn’t be happier, as much as it’s been a roller coaster. I don’t think I’d ever meet anyone else like either of them.
After all, they’re not even human.
