Actually, he was so sad that Eric had to, once again, spend Chuseok alone this year that he decided to go back to the dorm with some food his mother cooked to accompany him, even for a few hours.
After packing everything he needed—read: everything he would feed his dongsaeng—he bid his family goodbye and went on his way.
