Summary
Percival Graves, a man who was known for the first eighteen years of his life as Harry Potter, would like to think that he didn’t get to where he was today by being complacent. After all, he was MACUSA’s Director of Security and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, had graduated early from the Auror Academy with flying colors, quickly risen through the ranks, and was one of the youngest people to have ever held his position in the government. He had survived two wars, survived two killing curses, and vanquished a dark lord. Unfortunately, between the accidental time travel that had sent him ninety years in the past and the fact that he was currently on month three of being held captive in his own briefcase, he felt that maybe he had gotten to where he was today despite complacent, not due to a lack of complacence on his part.
Or: Harry Potter accidentally travels back in time, is adopted by the Graveses, gets a new first name, and learns how to actually be a person without a prophecy hanging over his head. Along the way, he falls in love with a man in a blue coat that he knows is going to change the world one day.
