Chapter Text
Tommy had migrated back next to Jack; They were discussing something, but you were too far up to hear. Tubbo was walking up next to you, as you saw a branch that was a little way ahead; it was hanging somewhat down in both your faces and Ranboo’s that was behind you. You bumped Tubbo’s arm, and he looked at you as you pointed at the branch and then tilted your head back in a quick motion.
It took Tubbo a second to understand what you wanted to do, but then he understood gasping silently and nodding. Ranboo was looking to the left of the trail watching birds flutter through the leaves and squirrels jumping from one branch to another. He was too distracted to see what you guys were planning.
Keeping in step, you continued down the path until you reached the branch. Unknowingly to you guys, Tommy had pointed the camera at the two of you and laughed from behind, waiting to capture what was about to happen. When Tubbo walked past it, he held the branch for a couple of seconds after and then let go when Ranboo walked past.
The lower end hit him in his chest while the higher branch hit his sunglasses, knocking them off his face and onto the dirt trail. His sweatshirt and hair were covered in water from the raindrops on the leaves. Some even sprinkled on you and Tubbo but the two of you were too busy laughing to even care or notice. Other than Tommy, who was recording the whole thing, everyone was confused and stopped behind Ranboo, curious to know what had happened.
