    When Lily and James start getting somewhere in their relationship, some of Regulus' bored and spiteful friends convince him to intervene, hoping for a spectacle resulting in heartbreak and hurt. The young Black brother takes them up on it and begins toying with the Golden Couple. Although he's only supposed to distract Lily from James, he can't help but want to get under both of their skin.
    What he didn't expect was for his advances to be reciprocated and soon he's dragged into their midst.
    While unexpectedly happy with the outcome and enjoying the company of some kinder influences in his life, he's left to deal with the wrath of his brother who's none too pleased to have his little brother toying with his closest friends, and also the much more aggressive consequences of his Slytherin friends' disappointment and disgust.
