~Giving xiao a long-needed hug~
You savored the moment as xiao reluctantly moved into your warm embrace. His furrowed brows and a confused look and he moved his shaky body into yours. it was clear he needed this. Xiao needed this.
He completely collapsed into your shoulder digging his face into the cram of your neck as he laid lifeless not bothering to cling onto you as you did you him at that moment showering him in affection
you weren’t sure if xiao was uncomfortable or not. But he didn’t move from his position so you took this as a sign to hold him tighter wrapping one of your arms around his back and the other shifted to his hair stroking it ever so gently
You weren’t sure if xiao had ever hugged someone before he didn’t seem to know how to do it quite right as his body laid fail indulging in yours.
knowing this you made sure to give him the best hug you could give. One to make up for all the years he had to suffer alone. for all the lost hugs he so desperately needed but never received and for all the times you won’t be there to hug him in the future a hug to end all hugs. You didn’t complain at all this was surely a memorable moment and you hoped xiao felt that way too.
A shaky “Thank you-” was all he could mutter out beneath your grasp. xiao wasn’t one to openly express gratitude to others. so you knew it was a special moment for him too.
