Chapter Text
She was sitting at the bus stop. It became a tradition, going back home after another great awesome fantastic summer in gravity falls. Another end, one unusually lonely. All her friends and family were busy, not much time left to wait with her to say one last goodbye. But she understood, she was older now, seventeen. She could wait alone.
Mabel bored with nothing to do started to look around to find anything interesting to help her kill some time. Nothing. Nope. Even worse . She continued like that until she was aware of a boy. A cute one actually, like, where was he all summer?
“Don’t worry” the boy said. Was he talking to me? “Don’t worry. I will fix it”
She was confused, but for some reason it made her feel hopeful. “What do you mean?” she asked, he only answer with sadness, subtle in his expression. “Can I help-”
The bus was finally here. It came out of nowhere, or at least that is what it seems to Mabel. She jumped surprised, her eyes now on the bus, her face at first lost then excited. It was finally here.
She started to take her stuff and step onto the bus. Did I forget something? Nah, probably nothing . She went to her seat by the window and got ready for the long ride. But when she looked at what should be an empty stop, there was a boy. Alone, waving. She could swear he was waving his hand at her.
The bus started to move, leaving the stop and the boy behind. She didn't break her view of him until the last moment When the boy disappear from her eyes and her memory.
