   Summary

   Dan comes home first. “Hey, love bugs,” he calls, toeing off his shoes. Venom has gotten used to his ridiculous pet-names and surges out from Eddie’s back to kiss him. Dan, with the instinctive need to breathe, kisses back. He laughs, cold hands coming to cup Venom’s face. Venom subtly feeds him oxygen to keep from having to pull away.

   Annie comes home an hour later, soaked to the bone and a grimace on her face. Venom darts out to envelop her, pushing warmth into her body to try and halt the shivering.
