Chapter Text
if your halo is bent
you take a hold of it
and bash your enemy against it
and if it is broken before he is defeated
you spear him upon your horns.
What will the HERO do?
Oh, What will the HERO do?
Fight the ENEMY!
Oh, What will the HERO do?
What will the HERO do?
To Start, any help on the summary and/or tags is more than welcome, in fact I demand it (please:)
Anyway, this is inspired by Limiter by phantomessangel which is absolutely perfect in every way. This 'Poem' was inspired by this line in chapter 11: "His halo was bent and distorted and the man had been right, he realized."
It brought up images and rhymes in my mind that I had to put down immediately. I ended up putting one of the earliest drafts in a comment on the fic around midnight of the 22 of October 2020; and I have slowly been working on this since.
Now if you are into BNHA go read that fic and the rest of the series as well while you're at it===
Check out the final chapter The "CODA of Imagery" for lore, explanations, and the process for this idea.
I recommend using the "Show Entire Work" function to quickly skip through the repetitive bits. This is marked as complete, but I have more ideas and will add to this when I find the time.
(See the end of the work for more notes.)
