Summary
For John, it was the last straw when Paul had criticized his singing, commenting on how ‘angry’ he sounded when he sang, and how they had to re-do the take. That was it, John had had enough. He placed the guitar onto the ground, “Alrigh’, ye think yer so good, don’t ye, Paul?” He snapped, eyes narrowing as Paul’s nostrils flared. As John began to approach Paul, Paul didn’t know whether to back up or to stay put. John looked angered at the younger man, and even a fool could tell that this wasn’t going to end without some sort of yelling. George and Ringo had stopped as soon as Paul had told them to, and watched on with worried expressions as John grabbed Paul by the wrist. Yoko was looking on as well, with that same stupid expression on her face. George looked like he was ready to break apart a fight.
