Time had seemly passed by the Troupe in an instant, but also far too slow at the same time. When his child, who the Troupe has lovely named Pan, for the time being, had first hatched it was only then that the space between the present and the past had only widened.
He remembers when they were called back to Hallownest.
Something he wasn’t expecting, frankly, rumors were that the kingdom had long been dead. Grimm remembered his hesitance but a call was a call regardless, and they needed to feed.
Grimm remembered the surprise he had when he saw a small and young creature enter the main tent, eyes filled with wonder and determination of duty not yet complete. Even then Grimm knew who that was, one of the many creations of the Pale King.

They were different, however, because the first thing they signed to him after an introduction was, ‘ I’m Ghost. Nice to meet you!’
If it wasn’t for the fact that the small one was the hope for so many bugs in this kingdom, Grimm would have adopted them into the Troupe right away. Keeping a watchful eye and provide a family as he would with his own child . He knew it wasn’t his place to intervene, the stale air only increased with each passing day, a world forever unchanging by the mistakes of those before. ‘
