Izuku's summer break wasn't the most eventful, but it had a couple things happening.
For starters, there was the big thing that happened on I-Island. Still wasn't what he was expecting when All Might took me with him to I-Island. Then, the 'Mall Incident' (as all of 1-A now calls it) happened with Shigaraki.
And lastly, which honestly he doesn't think anyone could have guessed what would happen during the training camps. Kacchan got kidnapped, and then he got dragged into going and saving Kacchan.
Don't get him wrong, being in UA is amazing, he has a quirk, friends, a better life, and becoming the career he had always wanted to be. But seriously, could UA and the League of Villains just take a break from attacking him and his classmates? Would it really be that hard?
After the Kamino Incident, there was small break where students had school off, but could still access all of UA's gyms, library, classrooms, testing labs, and things like that. Kirishima, Kacchan, Mina, Sero, Denki, Ojiro, and a couple others went to the gym to train on a regular basis. They had invited him to come but-
I don't know. I think I got interested in what ifs. Izuku had spent the entire rest of the break going to see what the support, business, and general education departments did. He still likes to think that maybe, if he hadn't taken One for All, and instead stayed quirkless, that he would have gotten into one of these other departments.
While hanging around the support course Izuku actually made a friend who somewhat understands him, which was a first. The friend he had made was the girl with pink dreadlocks who was in the sports festival. Her name is Hatsume Mei, but she insists that I call her Meimei. She also introduced me to Shinsou Hitoshi, which she is working on a invention for him- or what she calls a baby. I apologized to Shinsou about beating him in the sports festival and he said I was fine, so I think we are on better terms than before.
And to start the first day after the break-
He had woken up late. Amazing. It's also pouring so isn't that great. It's freezing and he's now completely soaked since he had forgot his umbrella, and he just missed his train so now he has to run so he isn't late to class. My luck today really just said "screw you"
I know Aizawa Sensei will probably call me a problem child, and Kacchan will tell at me, then at lunch-
I look up to see UA. I'm not sure how I got here, it's only been a few seconds... Oh well, I probably got lost in my thoughts. I start to head to my class, and on my way I pass a clock. Thankfully, somehow, I actually made it to class on time. I open the huge door (still not sure on why it's so big) and it's like a big case of deja vu. Iida is lecturing the Bakusquad about sitting on the desks, Tsu, Uraraka, and Todoroki are all chatting in the back of the class, with all of the other classmates roaming around, talking to each other.
I go straight for my seat, and immediately Iida, Tsu, Todoroki, Uraraka, and surprisingly the pair of Momo and Jirou all come up to me. They start asking the regular questions any teen would ask- how was your break, did you do anything fun, do you need a jacket to borrow, and continue to do this until all of the class hears the familiar steps, and quickly quiets down and goes to their respective seats.
Aizawa Sensei then walks in saying, " Good. You all are getting better at situational awareness. Moving on, you were supposed to have a somewhat normal day; but instead the rat - Nedzu - decided to have a bit of a different day. So today we will be going over different quirks, how people with different quirks are treated, and quirkless people."
