Summary
“I didn’t feel like going home.” The alone wasn’t spoken, but Bobby heard it anyways.
“What do you need, Buck?” Bobby asked, holding out a hand to urge Buck closer.
As if on instinct, Buck grabbed the outstretched appendage and settled onto his knees beside Bobby's chair, ducking his head down to nuzzle his cheek against the back of his hand softly. He breathed in, like even just the scent of his partner was enough to ease the anxiety welling up inside of him. Bobby used his other hand to card through Buck’s hair before tugging lightly so the boy would look up at him.
“I just need to be near you,” Buck whispered, plump bottom lip trembling and beautiful blue eyes watering slightly. “I need you.”
