Summary
After Tooru's violent kidnapping earlier in the year, his father, who serves as the oyabun of the Seijo clan, assigns ex-special forces and current yakuza flunkie to be Tooru's bodyguard for his last year of college. Living on his own for the first time following his cochlear implant surgery, Tooru insists he doesn't need a babysitter and he'll be fine; he values his newfound independence above all else.
His father doesn't buy it, however, as he already views Tooru as a liability and a burden to both him and the clan. According to the oyabun, who is better to fit together than a man who can't hear and one who doesn't speak?
