"Look, their calculations are completely wrong--" Rodney started, pointing at the data. "I know -- I know I'm right on this!" He said emphatically.
" There's no right side to this. " John said, trying to stick up for the other scientists.
"What? Of course, there is, it’s math not philosophy. I'm right; everyone else is wrong. I'm not saying it to be arrogant -- but if the shoe fits and all that--"
"I agree." Elizabeth stated calmly.
"Oh, come on!" Rodney started to argue, ready to defend himself. "Wait, what? Did you just say you agree with me?"
"You do?" John asked, turning to Elizabeth.
"You do?" Rodney asked equally as confused.
"I do." Elizabeth nodded, before she added, "Are you doubting yourself, Rodney?"
"No no no no, just I'm surprised you followed my genius." He said, smiling with confidence.
"Rodney!" John growled, while Elizabeth dipped her head and grinned.
"I didn't mean--" Rodney started stuttering.
"Just get on with it." Elizabeth said, leaning forward and almost whispering it.
"Yes ma'am, sorry. Thank you." He said, before he collected his items and left the room.
"He's the smartest idiot in the galaxy." John said to her quietly.
"Yep." Elizabeth agreed, crossing her arms, and coming to stand beside John, "but he's our smartest idiot in the galaxy."
