Chapter Text
The scene starts with Megaman and Iceman in the abandoned chop shop (or whatever it’s called).
Iceman has his back to Megaman, and Megaman is standing in a defensive pose. There are pillars of ice everywhere.
“Iceman, you’re angry, I get it. Believe me, I know what it’s like. But you are making a mistake“
“The path of hate is a dangerous track.”
The ice pillar behind Megman reflects a flashback to when Megaman was yelling at Dr.Light in Mega Pinocchio.
“You take one step,”
Mega begins to walk toward Ice
“and it’s hard to turn back.”
Megaman stops and turns to another ice pillar.
“It pulls you along,”
Megas reflection changes to a flashback to when him and Proto were jumping out of the blimp.
“and though it seems wrong, it feels right.”
The flashback changes to him and Proto fighting the tanks.
“Don’t you see,”
As the flashback slowly fades back to his own reflection, megaman walks away from the pillar.
“this path you’re on leaves a permanent mark.”
Megaman turns his focus back to Iceman.
“Feels good at first,”
As Megas talking to Ice, the pillar beside him reflects a silhouette of him and Proto holding their cannons in the air.
“then it slowly turns dark.”
The silhouette changes to Mega getting surrounded by the police.
“With each passing day, you’re further astray from the light.”
Megaman reaches for Icemans arm.
“Suddenly,”
Ice pulls away from Mega and starts to walk away from him.
“you’ll lose your way, and lose the thread.”
Megaman steps in front of Iceman.
“You’ll lose your cool, then lose your head!”
Mega’s talking to Ice in a firm and determined voice.
“Every loss is harder”
The pillar behind Megaman reflects Roll trying to get Mega back to the good side.
“to excuse.”
The pillar changes to Mega hugging Dr.Light back at the lab.
“Then you’ll see,”
The flashback changes to episode 5, where Mega sees Proto again.
“you’ll lose your faith, and lose your soul,”
It cuts to Mega and Proto fighting and arguing.
“till you lose complete control,”
Then Proto realizes that Mega hates him.
“and realize,”
As the flashback fades back, the pillar starts to crack.
“theres NOTHING left to lose!”
The ice pillar shatters as Mega yells, and Ice is startled by his sudden anger and takes a few steps back. “NOTHING left to lose!” Iceman steps back and bumps into a pillar. As he turns around, the pillar behind him shows him a flashback of him looking at the fake Air and Wiley talking about him being replaced. The flashback then ends, and the reflection fades back to Iceman looking at the pillar with a sad/scared expression.
Then Megaman calms down seeing Icemans expression, and remembers the reason he came here.
