Shit, he looks mad, Jackson thinks to himself as he regards the stranger he crashed into and then spilled both hot coffee and hot tea on. The man’s ears might as well have steam coming out of them, his fists clenched tight and his face, which is looking down at his soiled white shirt and dove grey suit, is growing steadily redder.
“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry—” Jackson frantically says, and the ranting apology just tumbles out of his mouth until his brain is no longer in control.
Jackson braces himself for the man’s wrath, which could even end in Jackson getting fired if the guy is a big enough executive at whatever company he works for, but when the man finally looks up, Jackson's mind goes blank.
