Summary
Thoma grunts as he’s shoved roughly to the ground, knees slamming onto the wooden panels as he’s forced into the penitent position. He breathes heavily as he stares at the parallel grains beneath him, heart racing as it slowly sinks in that- that this is real. It doesn’t feel real, it doesn’t feel right. Everything about this, from his capture to the vision hunt decree itself, feels like some terrible nightmare, like the ones he used to have as a child whenever thunder would rumble outside his bedroom window. Only he can’t seem to wake up from this one. Because this is no dream- a waking nightmare, sure, but one he cannot escape from.
Reality sinks in like a set of teeth tearing into his shoulder: He’s about to lose everything.A dramatization of the 100th Vision Hunt Ceremony and an extension of the scene and what happens after, because there's no way they both escaped unscathed. Will be updated once a week until completed.
