Tommy's hands were muddy with dirt, his skin was dripping with sweat and there was a self-satisfied smile curling across his lips. A good day harvesting, a good day spent in the heat and actually trying to move on with his life for once.
He felt good, he felt accomplished, he felt as if he was on top of the world and-
And then the blaring prison alarms start.

Tommy wanted to drag his hands upwards to his ears, to unclench his fists, pull his nails from his palms. He wanted to block it all out until only the rush of blood, and his beating heart were left.
But he couldn't. He couldn't. Dream had escaped, and Tommy was left hollow.
