“Hello?”
“Hello, this is Arthur Clark from Stars Align, I’m trying to reach a Miss Nasri?”
“This is she. You’re Alchemical Water’s manager, right?”
“Yes, yes indeed. I wanted to contact you regarding the upcoming event.”
“Oh, yes, the announcement regarding Heartful Punch and Alchemical Water teaming up.”
“Yes. I wanted to double check the time and place, that’ll be on the Daylight Update?”
“Yes, 8 AM, if memory serves. Should we expect Alchemical Water to be there as well?”
“I’ll let her know and get back to you.”
“Excellent, I’ll note it.”
pause
“Oh, um, Mr. Clark. Do you mind if I ask you something?”
“Yes?”
“How…how is Undine doing?”
“As far as I know she’s doing all right. Why do you ask?”
“Well, Kokoro doesn’t really like to talk to me about the personal stuff, but I know she cares about Undine and I just thought, maybe you had a closer relationship, you might know. I worry about Kokoro, and I guess a bit by extension I worry about what she worries about.”
“I’m surprised, Miss Nasri.”
“I guess that might be a bit unprofessional.”
“No, no, not at all. I honestly worry about Undine myself quite a lot. Everything she’s gone through, everything she’s lost. I’ve been managing magical girls for quite a long time, and you think you’re prepared for everything and then…it’s a bit sudden. I’ve been doing my best to shield her from the press but you can only do so for so long.”
“Mhm. Well, we’re in this together now. So know at least that you have someone on your side in this industry.”
“Thank you, Miss Nasri.”
“Any other business for now?”
“Not at all. Hope you have a pleasant day.”
“You too.”
